MARKETING STRATEGY FOR EAST AND NORTH EAST REGION

Dear Sir,

As discussed, I am putting forward my proposal for the strategy of plan of action.

Areas to be covered—West Bengal, Bihar & Jharkhand, Odisha, Chattisgarh & North East region.

Plan of Action—1. To appoint dealers as per location.

Criteria—Minimum lifting of 2000sqft for orders and stock.

West Bengal—3 nos – Kolkata-2nos: / North Bengal- 1no:

North Bengal covers area of Siliguri, Darjeeling, Sikkim and North Bengal area.

Odisha—2nos—Bhubaneswar-1no (covering Puri and Cuttack) / Rourkela-1no (covering Sambhalpur


and Rourkela region)

Bihar & Jharkhand—2nos—Ranchi -1no / Patna- 1no

Chattisgarh—1 nos: -- Raipur (Covering Bilaspur, Durg & Rajnandgaon)

North East region—1no- Guwahati (Covering all sister states)

On confirmation of the proposal the following actions to be taken starting from Qtr3. (July- Sept)

1. To meet prospective dealers in the region.


2. To finalize minimum 3 dealers with a minimum lifting of 2000sqft for their stock and sales.
3. To identify minimum quantity requirement of 30000sqft of materials per quarter (initially)
4. Focus on 12.5mm and 20mm thickness board applications.

Marketing supports required preliminary for the operation in East.

1. Visiting card for myself.


2. 2-page catalogues min-600pcs initially required for covering the visit to clients in the region.
3. Thick catalogue min- 100pcs for selected architects, clients and project offices.
4. Small samples of available thickness in quantity (100pcs each) for visits and client approvals.
Without samples visit to clients will not be effective for product movement and approvals.
5. Mock up samples of 1’ x 1’ for display during visits and architect presentations for partition,
roofing and false ceiling works with semi-finished and finished with jointing samples. This is
required for the product application finishing.
6. One set of accessories for demonstration purpose only to display during discussion with
clients.
7. Social media marketing as already being done from company.
8. Technical training with company technical advisor or team for better understanding of the
product range and its various applications.

Renumeration

As mentioned earlier to give a fixed amount of Rs 65000/- against the local expences for marketing
the products. It will be provided with the related bills as received for official work. Bills to be
produced for the following:

1. Local conveyance by own vehicle- petrol bills to be submitted.


Car maintenance bill.
Telephone bill for official use.
Train and flight tickets as applicable based on touring areas.

Food bills, Hotel stay and transit expenses for outstation tours.

Incidental expenses – Auto fare (as and where applicable, toll tax etc.
No alcohol bills to be processed.
2. ORC of 5% for the invoices as raised from the region based on the basic price as per invoices.

The first quarter will be more into the market survey and follow up with the clients for their
enquiries. I am quite convinced about the various applications of the product range. I require the
pricelist for the dealer lifting from Hyderabad warehouse on FOR basis so that it will help us calculate
their net landing cost to quote accordingly to the customers.
The prices are to be competitive initially to start with so that customers do get convinced for
processing the orders. The dealer appointment is also related to the pricing as this being a new
product entity in the East region.

This is for your kind consideration and waiting for the finalized offer so that I can start movement
accordingly for the market promotion and orders.
