 History

United Auto Industries (Pvt) Ltd. came into existence in 1999 by introducing economical 4-
stroke motorcycles and Auto rickshaws with the brand name of UNITED.
His (CEO) Sana Ullah Chaudhary.
United Auto is now engaged in manufacturing of loaders, scooters, rickshaws and bikes in
Pakistan. It has plans to launch an 800cc car named "United Bravo" in September 2018 and a
1000cc light commercial vehicle in fall 2018 or mid 2019. In 2017, the United Auto Industries
had applied for IPO for copyright of vehicles’ design and announced to launch 800cc and
1000cc vehicles in the country. The company is also looking for interested 3S dealership
candidates for their upcoming vehicles. It has a joint venture with a Chinese automaker to
produce these two new vehicles for the Pakistani market.

United Motors (Pvt) Limited was established in 2015. The basic aim of the
establishment of this company is to enhance lifestyle through offering quality
products at the most affordable price in the automobiles sector. United Cars’
manufacturing/assembling plant is situated at 1-Km off Kot Radha Kishan Road,
Multan Road, Bhai Pheru Lahore having the capacity to produce 20,000 units per
annum in a single shift. At United Motors Pvt Limited, we primarily focus on good
quality and best price to accomplish this promise all units assembled in accordance
with international standards as approved by Pakistan Standard and Quality Control
Authority (PSQCA).
In terms of product, initially, the company has introduced the United Bravo car 796
cc. To supply the product as per customer’s satisfaction, a team of highly skilled
professionals in all departments such as Marketing & Sales, Quality Control,
Production and Accounts always collecting market information and producing
United Cars as per customer’s requirement. Keeping the customers’ convenience in
mind, a large network of dealerships is developed in all cities of Pakistan to serve
our customers in terms of sales, service, and spare parts that made us popular in
both urban and rural areas.

United Motors introduced the 800cc Bravo hatchback in Pakistan back in
2018, soon after Pak Suzuki officially announced discontinuing the wildly
popular 3-decades old Suzuki Mehran. The car was seen as a ‘better
replacement’ for the Suzuki Mehran as it came with many interesting
features, including an interior with a wooden
touch that was actually made of plastic, a
dual gauge speedometer, three-spoke
steering, alloy rims, power windows,
power steering, and keyless entry. Due to
its features and relatively contemporary
looks, it was believed to perform well in
Pakistan.

Likewise, Seat-belt, Steering Lock, Interactive Multimedia, USB/AUX/Radio Player, Sun
Visor, Cabin Lamp, Adjustable Front Seat Headrest, Assist Grip, Glove Impartment,
Rear View Mirror, Rear Seat Headrest, Auto Reclining Coat Hanger, and Two Cup
Holder make its Interior worthwhile.

United Bravo Car Exterior

In terms of its Exterior, United Bravo is equipped with Multi-Reflector headlamps,
Front & Rear Bomber (Colored), Side View Mirrors (Foldable), Lockable Fuel Lid, Back
Door Lock, Wheel Alloys, Reflector with Light on Rear Bumper, Shark Fin Antenna, and
Reverse Camera. In addition to that, Inside Fuel Lid Opener, Power Windows, Center
Locking, Fold-able Key, Fog Lights, and High Mounted Stop Light are also included in
Bravo features.
 United Bravo — A Comparison
As predicted, the new hatchback has significant changes over its rival, it features
power steering, power windows, central locking, fog lights, rear view camera, alloy
wheels, and a touchscreen media panel on the console. And all that at a decent
price of Rs. 850,000, as announced by United at its Lahore event.
This could make things unfavorable for Pak Suzuki, as United Bravo has an
aggressive price, and costs almost the same as a Mehran VXR (the air-conditioned
variant). Additionally, the car is also expected to affect Suzuki WagonR – another
hatchback with a price starting at Rs. 1,114,000.
Its a relatively newer addition to Suzuki’s lineup, made available a few years ago,
though it saw a massive 82% increase in sales volume in 2017. It has a 1000cc K-
series engine, and comes in two variants, namely VXR and VXL.
Do note that even the WagonR VXL (the higher variant, price Rs. 1,234,000) lacks
several features that are present in the United Bravo, such as power windows for all
seats, rear camera, and a modern infotainment system. The price difference
between the two cars is pretty significant at Rs. 384,000.

United Bravo- From Leak to Launch
The car was anticipated as a replacement of Suzuki Mehran and due to its features
on offer and relatively contemporary looks; it was believed to do well in Pakistan.
However even after more than 2 years in the market, finding a Bravo on the roads
is an unusual event. You might come across one in the selected cities of Punjab
where the car is available, however in other parts of the country; the Bravo can
only be seen online.
Living in Lahore and spending most of the times on roads, I have personally able to
come across 1 United Bravo– yes ONE Bravo during the last 2 years since its launch.
This is because the company is yet to establish its nationwide presence (in major
cities of the country outside Punjab) in a span of more than 2 years.
 Quality
So I thought I'll finally make this thread about United Bravo , I'll discuss below
why it's a complete failure :
Technical aspects.
The car has the replica 800 engine of a Mehran but then also weighs 90-100 kg
more than Mehran. So the power weight ratio is a blunder.
The Quality of the car is Pathetic, it looks shiny and beautiful but it's all
gimmicks..
The guy at the showroom tells me
"ap bus Accessories dekhein aur Mehran se compare Karen aur Kharedayn "
 MARKETİNG:
Marketing was a TOTAL fail, they failed to provide a car for TEST DRİVİNG .. salute
to whoever is the marketing Director of the company. How can you Not Provide a
DAMN TEST DRİVE.? and then expect it to be a Success. FAİL. Right there.
They just thought we'll sell the cars without drive test, and close the company as
soon as all units are sold..
Lastly, the company wasn't interested in İntroducing the car in KARACHİ, the
BİGGEST market in Pakistan. Clapping. I'll add, the company was looking for a
total failure the way they Behaved all over. P.s. you can check I provide the Proofs
that the car is a fail, the owners Are selling their cars after barely a month of
keeping. Anyone I met wasn't Satisfied with bravo..
 My Friend Personally Experience
about Bravo
Here’s my two cents for the car , I was in the market for a small hatchback as a
second car , and I wanted a local car not imported, so United really attracted
me and was 90 percent sure I will get and let’s give it a try , so went to the
showroom, they’re two displayed car , one was white and one was grey , both
cars were in patathic shape , door handles were broken , plastic was already
worn , there was over spray all over the car , when I’ve asked to start the when
they tried it took 15 mines , if there display cars are like this imagine how would
the others will be .
They had a great chance to enter the market and compete with Mehran , but
due to there stupidity and careless they failed terribly, they added so many
accessories but didn’t focus on the quality ,
Say what ever you want to say about Mehran but title of best local hatchback
goes to the queen Mehran ,
 suggestion
How it can be made even better?
It can be improved a little with the quality of plastic used in the interior cabin.
The quality of plastic is not up to the standards that give a cheap look to the
cabin. The handles of the door from the inside are shoddy. The seats of United
Bravo are not very comfortable and suitable for longer journeys that do not suit
patients with low back pain. So those people who have to travel a lot to their
hometowns do not prefer United Bravo. The company promises a good fuel
economy that is expected by all the consumers of small hatchback segment cars
but the fuel economy is not as promising as declared. It does not give any spare
tire and even no place for the spare tire. There is no ABS system provided so the
company should keep in mind these flaws that should be removed in the
upcoming versions. The facelift can also be improved a bit to give a modern
design. Lastly, the company should focus on the availability of spare parts of the
car because the car is competing with Suzuki Mehran and as we all know Mehran
is a most loveable car because of the readily available and low-cost spare parts
of Mehran that make its maintenance cheap and promising resale value. Up till
now the spare parts of United Bravo are not readily available but we hope that
with the increased sales and demand of the new car in the market, its spare
parts will also be available at cheap prices in the market and will give an
average resale value. The automatic version should also be introduced soon so
the customers seeking automatic transmission should not search for other
companies.
 Conclusion

United automobiles have set a goal to break the stereotype of the Suzuki small
hatchback segment cars including Mehran and Alto. It has provided many
advanced and improved features that the Suzuki cars do not have. Although
Mehran has vanished in manufacturing plants still supremacy and power have
remained in our automobile industry. Its resale value, maintenance value, and
value of spare parts had made it a favorite among buyers and United Bravo has
to face big competition from Suzuki cars. If United Bravo continues to give
better-advanced features and the spare parts of the car become common in
markets then it can break the hold of Mehran in the small hatchback segment
market. It may take some time for United to become as popular as Mehran but
we hope for a profitable business and a good place in markets for United
Bravo.
