DATE SUBMITTED: 12/06/2022

COURSE / SECTION: CWTS101/ ME- A31
ACTIVITY TITLE: Essay #6
REALIZATION, INSIGHT AND LEARNINGS
How can you describe a good leader? How does a good leader contribute to the overall
performance of the group in achieving their objectives?
Student’s Answer:

A good leader unites and helps a group succeed. A good leader is reliable, can delegate, and
communicates well. These traits help recognize group conflicts and bring people together. A group leader
needs self-confidence, commitment, positivity, and inventiveness. These traits will help a group develop
successful ideas. A great leader must be motivated, empathic, humble, accountable, enthusiastic, focused,
responsible, and truthful. Since a leader is a role model, these traits will help the organization and each
member improve.

Therefore, if a group's leader has all the qualities I listed, the group's performance will increase
dramatically because they will have the motivation a leader needs to achieve their goals in the most
efficient ways. A leader may anticipate and create scenarios allowing team members to succeed. Leaders
examine the group's ideas and decide on the most effective strategies to motivate participants to work
diligently to achieve their goals.

To be outstanding leaders, we must set a high bar for our group members. Passion, commitment,
empathy, and integrity are vital. In addition, a leader's success or failure is heavily determined by their
communication quality and ability to make sensible decisions. Creativity and an imaginative mind are the
final leadership characteristics that create a great leader.
