ABOUT COLLEGE
NIT Puducherry, one of the 10
new NITs established in 2010,
has its campus in a sprawling
258 acres abutting Poovam and
Thiruvettakudy. A fast-growing
Technical Institution funded by
the Ministry of Education,
Government of India, offers UG,
PG and Doctoral programs in
both Engineering and science
streams. It also offers Doctoral
programs in Physical Education
and Humanities. State-of-the-art
ground facilities are being
developed in the campus.
ABOUT
MR.KRISHNASWAMY
Mr. Krishnaswamy, father of former director of
NIT Puducherry Prof. Dr Sankaranarayanaswamy,
had 40 years of service in the field of Physical
Education at Government schools. He was born
and raised in Tirunelveli District. He excelled in
Volleyball, Basketball and Badminton. One of the
renowned sportsperson in Tamil Nadu.

• Tournament will be
conducted on knockout
basis.
• There will be 4 quarters of
10 minutes each.
• Maximum of 12 players per
team.
• Registration on first-come-
first-serve basis.
• Current BFI rules will be
followed.

Rs 1000/- per Team

• All matches will be best
of three format
• Maximum of 3 players
per team.
• Registration on first-
come-first-serve basis.
• Current VFI rules will be
followed.

Rs 350/- per Team
BASKETBALL
WINNER: Rs 10000/- + Rolling Trophy
RUNNER: Rs 5000/-

BEACH VOLLEYBALL
WINNER: Rs 3000/- + Rolling Trophy
RUNNER: Rs 2000/-

• This is an invitation tournament,
and entries will be based on First-
come-first-served basis.
• Register with the given google form
link or QR code.
• Accommodation and food will be
provided for outstation participants
from 6am on 20th July 2024.
• Caution deposit of Rs.1000/-
(refundable) should be paid by the
teams availing accommodation.
• Transport facility will not be
provided by the organizers.
• Participation is open only to Men.
• The participant must submit the
Aadhar card.
• The participant is requested to bring
the college ID card.
• Participants should wear proper
uniform/attire.
• Decision of tournament committee
on all matters related to tournament
is final.
• All teams should be present 20
minutes before the start of the
match.
