Dear Mayor Mitra,

It has been a year since our battle with Covid-19 has started. The municipality of Panukulan,
through the joint efforts of all municipality and HRH offices, has been persevering to ensure the safety
and health of the people of Panukulan. However, due to the instability of our health systems and the
continuous rise of COVID-19 cases in our country, our health care workers are still the group with
highest risk of getting infected with the said virus. Particularly, our Job Order Medical Technologist
together with our laboratory technician, has been in charge of the swabbing and testing of all the
suspected cases of Covid-19 as well as the basic Laboratory Testing of all regular patients as well for the
whole population of Panukulan.
In line with this, the Municipal Health Office would like to request for the regularization of our
Job Order Medical Technologist, Niesel Jouy P. Peñamante, RMT. This action will further enhance the
capacity of our Rural Health Unit in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Covid-19 and other diseases. We
strongly believe that this is an important action in the sustenance of our services for the people of
Panukulan.
