UNHCR Pakistan in collaboration with National Vocational & Technical Training Commission
(NAVTTC) is enhancing its support to Afghan refugees and Pakistani host families in livelihoods
development to make a safe and sustainable living through Skill Development Program. The selected
individuals will be provided with marketable skills in reputed Technical and Vocational Education
Training (TVET) institutes across the country, empowering them to meet their basic needs and
contributes to their dignity through employment & self-employment. The selected trainees will be
paid PKRs 6,000 monthly stipend during 06-month training and toolkits will be provided in NAVTTC’s
prescribed trades after completion of training program.

Eligibility criteria for applicants.
1. An Afghan applicant must have a valid Afghan Refugee (POR) Card.
2. Host Pakistani nationals domiciled in the above listed districts must have valid CNIC.
3. UNHCR mandated Afghan refugees must have valid mandate refugee card.
4. Applicants should be between 16 and 40 years of age at the time of application. Youth with the age
from 16 to 24 will be prioritized.
5. The applicant should not have been convicted for any criminal activity.
6. Those who already completed training in the NAVTTC-UNHCR projects in 2018-2023 are not eligible
regardless of trades.
7. Applicants who provide false information can be expelled from the training anytime.

3. Final merit list of selected trainees will be displayed by end of the same day of interviews.

5. UNHCR or NAVTTC does not take any fee to apply for any trades or institutions.
