The four basic language skills are listening skills, speaking skills and
reading skills and writing skills. LSRW

Writing is the process of using words to communicate your thoughts


and ideas in a written form.

Opinion Writing
Opinion – A person’s thoughts, feelings or beliefs about something.
Opinions tell us what someone believes.
They are based on people's own personal judgements
and attitudes.An opinion has no proof and can change
from person to person.

A mnemonic is a memory aid for something, often taking the

is using an OREO structure.
 Opinion – how do you feel about the topic?
 Reason – give reasons/information to support your opinion
 Evidence – give extra details/examples to support your
opinion
 Opinion -restate your opinion

Conclusion restates the topic sentence and wraps up your


writing.
