RESOLUTION NO. 6
SERIES OF 2024

A RESOLUTION TO CREATE MECHANISM OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN (SIP) AND OTHER SCHOOL PROCESSES.

WHEREAS, the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001 (RA 9155) emphasizes
that every unit in the education bureaucracy is responsible and accountable for
continuous improvement of learning outcomes. Through the principle of shared
governance, participatory decision-making driven by active engagement of school
stakeholders is strengthened;

WHEREAS, the council as a feedback mechanism shall recommend ways of

improving the quality of basic education services and school performance to the
school management and school planning team, and its means of respecting,
protecting, fulfilling, and promoting children's rights in the education context;

WHEREAS, shall suggest the mechanism of improving quality of school

improvement plan and other school processes;

WHEREAS, school processes mean; the projects, programs and activities aside
from what are mentioned in the SIP;

WHEREAS, specifically mechanisms include but not limited to the following;

1. Monthly Meeting dubbed as Project TURUPARAN – Technical, Utmost,
Relevant, Unbiased and Prudent Assessment of Required Activities of the MonNth.
2. Quarterly Meeting through SPIRPA
3. Special Meeting
4. Project FGD (Focused-Group Discussion)

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the council should create

mechanisms to improve the quality of SIP and other school process which include
but not limited to the following;
1. Monthly Meeting dubbed as Project TURUPARAN – Technical, Utmost,
Relevant, Unbiased and Prudent Assessment of Required Activities of the MonNth.
2. Quarterly Meeting through SPIRPA
3. Special Meeting

4. Project FGD (Focused-Group Discussion)

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT, this resolution will be approved once signed by the
persons concerned from the motion of approval coming from Julius V Sinining, the
SSL President and duly seconded by the body.
WE HEREBY CERTIFY TO THE CORRECTNESS OF THE FOREGOING
RESOLUTION.
