experience in providing solutions within the renewable energy field, including the areas of solar PV
technology production, manufacturing, quality assessment and systems deployment. Our
consultants include engineers, research scientists, lead auditors and energy policy analysts who work
closely with our clients to achieve their goals.

Based upon the briefing given to Sunsol, we are pleased to submit our business proposition. The
solution approach outlined in this document is derived from our expertise and intellectual database
in providing value propositions in the areas of Power Plant installation, commissioning,
troubleshooting etc. They are customized further to suit the requirements of the client. These
processes have been successfully used in other projects at various organizations.

We however believe that with careful planning and full support from the client, a detailed analysis
for understanding of current systems, challenges, requirements and processes will be carried out
and the implementation of this solution approach will be streamlined and tailored to meet the
specific needs of the client.

We thank the client for providing us with an opportunity to extend our services and we look forward
to providing reliable services and build a long term, value-based relationship.

Project Outline
The Indian Navy acquired Couach Fast Interceptor Boats aftermath of 26/11/2008 to safeguard our
maritime interests. The sole motive of this project is to increase the range of this patrol boat by
making its batteries independent of its existing 800HP engine for charging needs.

We are proposing a green solution for charging installed marine batteries with Solar PV Modules
installed on bow side of the boat. The SPV Modules considered shall be of flexible type and light
weight and shall be from Tier-1 module suppliers only, to ensure reliable performance and minimum
possible weight to the boat to increase its operational capability also maintain its power-to-weight
ratio as before.

The other equipment such as Solar charge controller, Adhesives and BOS Items shall be of reputed
make and should be sustainable in marine environment and durable as per the high standards and
expectations of Indian Navy.
