INTRODUCTION
International politics is the core study of Political science. It studies the relations between the nations. All nations work for their
National interest and each state has their own sovereignty and has a different place as a sovereign player in the international arena.
International politics studies how the nations Co exists.

MEANING
International politics is the study of relationships, interactions, and power dynamics between states, non-state actors, and
international organizations in the global arena. It encompasses a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

DIPLOMACY AND FOREIGN RELATIONS : The ways in which states communicate and cooperate with each other on
international issues.
SECURITY : The maintenance of peace and stability, as well as the defense against threats such as war, terrorism, and
cyberattacks.
TRADE : The exchange of goods, services, and resources between states, and the negotiations and agreements that govern
these exchanges.
HUMAN RIGHTS : The protection and promotion of individual rights and freedoms, including freedom of speech, religion,
and assembly.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION : The management of global environmental resources and efforts to mitigate the impact
of human activities on the environment.
International politics is a dynamic and ever-changing field that plays a crucial role in shaping the world and the relationships
between states and other actors.
NATURE OF INTERNATIONAL POLITICS :-
NATIONS ARE PRIMARY ACTORS :- International politics is a process of interactions among nations. It studies the conflict
and cooperation of nations with each other. Each state has its own identity but at the same time they Coexist with other
nations too.
POWERS AS MEAN AS WELL AS END :- Power is used as both to fulfil the national interest and protect the nation from
external forces. To attain power nations should be military and economically strong.
NATIONAL INTEREST :- Every nation has one major objective to fulfil the national interest which can be done by controlling
other states if it's ambitious. Nations' interests are dynamic and keep changing.
CONFLICTS :- World has to deal with various wars, destruction and violence which even hinder human rights. International
politics studies the destruction which is caused by wars and conflicts. While it also studies the attempt made by nations for
conflict resolutions.
SCOPE OF INTERNATIONAL POLITICS :-
STUDY OF NATIONAL POWER :- It studies the International powers and various actions of nations which influence the other
nations. Every state works to increase their national power and protect their national interest.
STUDY OF INTERNATIONAL LAW :- International laws are also covered under the study of International politics. Although
there is a lot of confusion about international law especially when it goes against the sovereignty of any country.
STUDY OF NATION STATES :- Nations are major players of International politics. They are becoming more powerful day by
day . The interactions and conflicts between the nations are studied under International politics.
STUDY OF FOREIGN POLICY :- Every nation has its own foreign policy which is formulated by keeping the national interest
in mind. It also keeps account of how the power of the nation can be increased.
STUDY OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION :- International organisation is a major focus of International politics. After
the formation and failure of League OF NATION the world has assumed the importance of International organisation. The
United Nations was created to save the world from another world war. Apart from the UN , various regional organisations also
play an important role.
STUDY OF POPULATION :- demographic content of the states are covered under international politics. People decide the
development of a nation, if the population is a hard working nation.
STUDY OF TERRORISM :- Terrorism is a global issue and needs to be dealt with by Every nation together. There are different
terrorist organisations who hinder the peace and growth of nations.
CONCLUSION
