1. The Start.

I like, every other science student (PCM) wanted to crack IIT when
I was in pursuing my 8th and 9th classes, of course 10th. But I
wanted to go to hostel in my Intermediate. I too even had a IIT
Foundation from 6th to 9th class. Though I didn't studied well there I
never got demotivated that I won't get any good IIT in my future. I
didn't continue the foundation in my 10th cause I was in a pressure
to get good score in my board exams. Eyes blinked and my 10th
class flew by very fast. My board completed and I wrote them well.
Now comes "Whats Next?".

2. Going to Sri Chaitanya College.

The thing is that any student like me who is born and bought up
here in the telugu states (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) are
generally sent to any of the two colleges, Sri Chaitanya or Narayana.
The same continued for me also. My father made his mind to Sri
Chaitanya College, Madhapur because two of my friends are also
joining there as just hostellers just like me.

We all took the admission and were living in the same room. One
of my friend (Who came to me with hostel) has a older brother
studying in IIT Bhubaneswar. My other friend even has a brother who
is studing in Vasavi Engineering College, Hyderabad. So, they both
have the guidance and even the idea of what is IIT coaching and
what all nonsense does it have.
3. The Hostel Life.
My classes have been started and I started making friends. Hostel
is something different experience I have seen in my life. Very first, I
was bit scared but my parents motivation made me to withstand all
the problems, but when good friendship is there, all those problems
won't look like problems. I had all different kinds of friends in my
hostel life. Some are extremely polite, descent, good, bad, naughty
and what not, all kinds of shades of friends. But I can't express my
enjoyment I had with all of them, I had many sweet memories. I have
learnt many precious lessons of do's and don'ts in ones life.

I wasn't a good student at all from the first because there was
nobody for me to guide personally. What ever my teacher or the
lecturer says I would do it sometimes or just leave it thinking its out
of my mind capability. It was all self learning for me. The day came
when my 10th class board result came. I got 10 points totally (In
Telangana the SSC system follows the points system but not the
marks but for the intermediate education the follow marks system).
All my parents, relatives (inevitable thing) were satisfied, they were
kind of happy. It kind of motivated me for further studying.

4. First IPE Exams

Now the IPE (Inter Public Exams) dates have been released. My
father just told me that if I need to improve my score in the JEE
exams I have still 1 year (i.e. 2nd year) of time, but to improve the
IPE score I have only 1month time. These IIT instutions like Sri
Chaitany and Narayana in my state generally don't allot much time
for the IPE board exams thinking that is just a descriptive exam. But
my father always forces that IPE is my life result, it gives me the
good impression on me in the future life, cause most of the people
at this stage get distracted in all ways. I seriously worked on these
exams. And also I got good result in it. I was state 5th rank and my
marks were 463 /470.

5. The start of Second Year

Now after the IPE exams were completed, we were shifted to the
Narsingi campus. It was good faculty but the only problem I faced
there is the food. All of us hesitated to have that food, but there was
no other option for us. The faculty there motivated me that most of
the rank holders get serious in the 2nd year itself. With this I
changed my mind and started working seriously. At some point the
selection for zonal batch started in our campus. These people were
made to have special treatment for the hardest exam JEE Advance.
Unfortunately I wasn't selected in that. Firstly I was depressed but
after some days I got on to my track again. The time flew and our
revision of whole syllabus started(This revision is done to all
students for the whole syllabus and the lecturers will teach each
topic again fastly. It generally starts 5 months before the JEE Mains
exams starts for each batch). It completed very fastly and JEE Mains
exams started.
I was scared a lot because I tought that I didn't learnt anything.
But I slowly revised day by day and gained confidence. I gave my first
attempt for mains. I got 96.5106397%ile. I was expecting around
98%ile, but that did not come true. Although I was happy with this.
Now the second year IPE exams schedule was released. We were
having only 28 days of time (omiting 2 days for practicals) for
preparing the whole syllabus of 2nd year. Generally other batches
would be having 1 and half month but it was not for us, cause
elections came into the picture. The Government preponed the
exams that year. I wrote my exams well but not upto the mark (I
didn't wrote according to my capacity). Results came out but I wasn't
happy as much when I was at my first year result cause I scored 2-3
marks less in all subjects. I got 972 / 1000 (i.e. 97.2%).

After the IPE exams, my full focus was on my 2nd session. But I
couldn't score well in my second session, I got only 95%ile in it.

6. The Change Over of my Decision

As how all the students write the respective state entrance
exams, I wrote my TS EAPCET 2024 exam. I was not at all prepared. I
have done completely time pass even the day before the exam. I
without any seriousness wrote the exam. I didn't done maths well. I
kept some random answers and came out of the examination hall. I
was a bit scared that what should I tell to my parents if the ask me
about the exam. I told them the truth. I scold me that it is a
prestigious exam and how can I write it without any seriousness. I
lost all hopes and the other day I was sent to my hostel again for
atleast getting good rank in Advance exam. On a fine day, a rumor
out that the results of the EAPCET were releasing on that day. I didn't
botherd it, but our A.G.M. sir told the same thing. The results have
been anounced and we were still in the class. We could not see our
result as long as we are in the class. As soon as the class ended I
called my parents to check my result. My friend showed me my
result. I got 2309 rank in the state level. Which is a very good score
according to my parents and my principal. I was eligible to get any
course in any college in Telangana. I was completely shocked. I was
like "Man, is it really me who got this rank? I didn't wrote anything in
the exam hall.". Then I changed my mind to going to an college
though the EAPCET counseling. But I have Advance exam still in my
hands. It was not completed yet. After a little bit of preperation I
wrote my Advance exam also.

Even though I didn't qualify for the Advance exam (for going into
the IIT's), I made my parents happy by scoring good marks in my
10th boards, IPE, and in my Mains and in EAPCET exams. This is how
I completed my full two years Intermediate of my life happily.
