WHAT IS ANEMIA?
According to the World Health Organization,
anemia is a condition where hemoglobin levels in
the blood are less than normal.
Anemia sufferers will experience weak, tired,
lethargic, tired and inattentive conditions.
anemia is usually prone to women who are
menstruating or iron deficient
WHAT IS IRON?

iron is one of the nutrients required for basic


physiological processes such as hemoglobin
production and enzyme function.
WHAT IS IRON?

The body needs more iron when growing rapidly


and when there is frequent blood loss for example
through menstruation, therefore adolescent girls
are at higher risk of iron deficiency which
eventually causes symptoms of anemia
HOW TO PREVENT ANEMIA?

To prevent anemia, it is recommended to consume


foods high in iron, high iron content can be
sourced from animal proteins such as chicken,
eggs, fish, and chicken and beef liver.

tofu, tempeh, can also be a source of iron
needed by the body.high iron content can
also be obtained from vegetables such as
spinach, kale and broccoli.
BLOOD SUPLEMENT TABLETS
in addition to consuming foods that are high in iron to

recommended to take blood supplement tablets one
