Canada is my number one choice to immigrate to because of its free healthcare and

low crime rates. Being a multicultural country, and from my experience of having friends and
family already residing in Canada, my parents wouldn’t feel too far away from home knowing
there are local Filipinos within the country. Knowing that there is a huge Filipino community
in Canada would bring the Filipino culture that we would miss back in the Philippines.

Since family is the most important factor for me immigrating to another country, I
seek the opportunities in Canada such as free health care and free education. Since my
parents are starting to get older, I will have to prioritize their health without worrying about
the big expenses. If I decide to have a family of my own, my future child will greatly benefit
from the free education, in which I could have plenty of time to save money for their college
tuition. Additionally, having Canada’s low crime rate will ease my peace of mind knowing my
family will be safe in that country.

I strive to give my family a better life in Canada, offering opportunities we couldn’t

have in the Philippines. Once I’m a permanent resident with a stable income, I’ll start
planning our life in Canada.
