Math & Engineering with Lego


Students explore the building blocks of physics and practical
mathematics.
Young learners love building with LEGO, and in this camp, they will learn how
to take their creations to the next level! Students will learn building techniques,
collaborate with their peers, and explore the world of engineering through
compelling daily challenges! In this camp, students will learn how to find
creative solutions to practical problems, develop blueprints, and construct
miniature marvels of engineering.

Little Explorers
Just because school is out, it doesn’t mean kids should stop learning! During
camp, your Little Explorer will push their creative limits through multisensory
explorations. This camp will touch on a wide variety of topics, from exploding
volcanos at the beach, to creating sensory boards inspired by our nature walks.
Your child will get their hands dirty with science experiments, story re-
enactment, literacy exercises and much more. It is our goal to keep their little
minds exploring through games, projects, and activities. We believe that when
your child is having fun and learning, the possibilities are limitless.

Science Madness
Calling all Little Scientists! Our Science Madness camp is a one-of-a-kind
educational experience. Throughout the week your child will conduct 2
experiments each day, for a total of 10 fun experiments over the course of the
camp. Following each experiment, your child will learn about the scientific
method and engage in group discussion. Each Little Scientist will write their own
hypothesis, discuss the results, and develop conclusions. This camp will keep
your child entertained, while learning and developing critical thinking skills.

Math & Board Game Blast


Did you know that board games have impressive educational benefits? During
our Math and Board Game Blast camp, students will develop critical thinking
skills, expand their attention span, and learn the importance of sportsmanship,
all while having fun! Your child will be provided the opportunity to play a variety
of board games, designed for different ages and skill levels. This camp is also
designed to improve your child’s math skills, with a particular focus on number
fluency and game-based learning.

Young Entrepreneurs
Budding Businesses are born in this 4 or 5-day long experience for Young,
Creative Entrepreneurs! Kids will spend a week coming up with a business idea,
creating a marketing plan to help it come to life and facilitating “production”.
Our focus is helping children learn how their passions can become profitable,
and the steps to make it happen! This head start in Business offers a unique and
memorable summer camp experience where students learn about
entrepreneurship through a variety of games and activities. Students will
learn first-hand the values, qualities and skills needed to be successful as an
entrepreneur while developing financial awareness, confidence, teamwork and
communication skills.

Mathematics Preparation Courses
These courses are designed for two types of students: students looking to fill-in
some gaps before moving onto the next grade, or students wanting to get a
head- start on upcoming math concepts. These courses will send students back
to school with more confidence. Your child will be properly prepared to take on
the challenges of the year ahead. These courses familiarize students with the
material ahead of time, giving them a head start in the new school year.

Aspiring Young Writers


Experiment with short stories, poetry, research papers and more!
Calling all creative minds and lovers of literature! This camp will help young
writers find their unique voice and express themselves through narrative,
poetry, nonfiction, visual arts and even theatre. Students will tackle a unique
writing challenge each day, with some imagination-boosting activities to
improve their vocabulary, grammar, and sentence building skills! Students will
explore contemporary styles and authors, collaborate with their classmates,
and research new horizons to inspire their creative spirit and discover their
inner writer.

Reading & Writing Galore


Students will use literacy to express themselves and explore the natural
world
Each day this camp offers students a new theme to explore: from “All About
Me” on Monday, “Spring Senses” on Tuesday, “Opinions Galore!” on
Wednesday, “Silly Sequencing” on Thursday, and “Storytelling Skills” on Friday.
Our experienced instructors will provide a supportive learning environment to
guide students through a variety of hands-on learning activities such as self-
portrait reflections, opinion formulation, appropriate writing techniques,
grammar, reading comprehension, and story re-enactment.

Novel Study Camp


Our Novel Study Camp is designed for students to understand literary elements
and higher comprehension of a chosen novel in a small group setting. This
camp will help students develop a variety of critical thinking techniques as well
as gain an understanding of comprehension strategies and text analysis. An
appropriate novel will be selected to ensure all students attending camp will
benefit from the novel presented. Studies have shown that the critical analysis of
longer reading materials enhances a student’s critical thinking skills. Each Novel
Study class will include a combination of comprehension questions, vocabulary
development, writing responses, figurative language and a final assessment.
This camp is a great way to help your student discover their love of reading.

Back-to-school Literature Skills


Our experienced instructors will provide a supportive learning environment to
guide students through a reading and writing journey. Each child will receive
creative writing and structured writing based on overall level. Students will read
a variety of texts, engage in personal reflection as well as class discussion, and
write thoughtful responses.
Paragraph writing using a five-sentence approach of:
• Topic sentence
• Detail sentences
• Conclusion
Grammar will also be implemented in each writing lesson.
Students will enjoy the interactive nature of the class while improving all areas
of reading and writing. This camp is a wonderful way to prepare your child for
the upcoming school year!

Back-to-school Math Skills
Did you know that 3.5 months of math skills are lost over the summer?! This
Math Camp will allow students to experience Mathematics like never before-
through games, projects, experiments, and other fun activities. This program is
designed to help students build their confidence and skills with mathematics.
This course assists students through hands-on, fun- filled activities. We use a
well-developed system to enrich, review, and remediate each individual
student’s math skills. This approach is customized to each student’s individual
level. Our math camps are the perfect balance of learning and fun!
