Subject: Pricing on service repairs, bench checks and exchanges.

Purpose: To update policies and pricing on service repairs, bench checks and exchanges.

Advisory: When sending in a repair order, please quote your customer or get pre-approval of
the flat rate repair, overhaul, or exchange price prior to sending in the unit. You
must then include a Not To Exceed price (repair, overhaul or exchange) on your PO
for all flat rate items. This will ensure your product goes into work and ships in the
most efficient manner. If the price is above and beyond, L-3 Avionics Systems will
call you for approval. If the unit only needs a bench test, you will be charged
appropriately. Thank you for your help while we try to improve our turnaround
times.

Enclosed is a service price list covering flat rate charges for repairs, bench checks and
exchanges performed at the Grand Rapids, Michigan facility. A 2005 Commercial
Products Price List and a 2005 Repair, Overhaul & Exchange Price List may have
already been distributed, however, this service memo lists specific discount prices
provided to our dealers. This Service Memo has been prepared to help reduce the number
of requests for quote concerning flat rated repairs. Dealers receive a 20% discount from
the list price except where items are marked time and material or a new replacement is
required. Dealers receive a 30% discount from the list price on replacement antennas.

Warranty:

Flat rate repair charges include a 180-day warranty. Exchange charges include a 12-month warranty. A
product for which a bench check charge is billed does not receive additional warranty.

Return Authorization:

It is not necessary to call L-3 Communications Avionics Systems, Inc. for a return authorization unless
the unit is an “out-of-box” failure (See paragraph entitled “Out of Box Failures:”). Send the unit with
billing and shipping instructions and a detailed description of the problem(s). Include a telephone number,
fax number and the name of a contact person, should there be any questions.

Charges:

Flat rate service charges are listed regardless of the required repairs to assist you in quoting and billing
the end customer. Some repairs are billed based on time and material due to the price and availability of
spare parts. Upon evaluation L-3 Communications Avionics Systems will send you a quote for repair.
The minimum charge is the bench check charge.

Turnaround Time:

Repairs are completed on a first-in, first-out basis. Getting pre-approval of flat rate repair, overhaul, or
exchange pricing prior to sending in units, and including a Not To Exceed on all POs will ensure your
product goes into work and ships in the most efficient manner. This will improve our turnaround times
for you.

Shipping:

Unless otherwise specified, repaired systems will be returned by the same method as shipped to L-3
Communications Avionics Systems, Inc. If shipping is other than UPS ground, please indicate your
account number so that we may bill shipping charges against your account.

Out of Box Failures:

A unit is considered an “out-of-box” failure if the unit has not been flown. Operation of all units should
be verified on the bench prior to installation in the aircraft. A letter, on your company stationary, stating
that the unit was never flown MUST accompany all “out-of-box” failure cores. Contact your Marketing
Department Sales Representative for an RMA number when returning an “out-of-box” failure, and be
sure to clearly label this on your shipment.

Minimum Order for Spare Parts:

All spare part orders require a minimum order of $50 US Dollars.

International Shipments:

L-3 Communications Avionics Systems, Inc. does not cover customs charges.
For customs clearance on military items the notify party on the Air Waybill must be:
