General Shape of the MATATAG Curriculum. My presentation will
cover a brief explanation of the context of the K to 12 Program, curriculum
review process and factors which guided the revisions, salient features
of the MATATAG Curriculum, and spirations and ways forward of the
MATATAG Curriculum.
• In this session, you will be oriented with the general shape of the
MATATAG Curriculum. At the end of this session, you are all expected to

Revision of Curriculum Development more than a year to craft, validate, finalize,

Recognizing the need to be prepared for the full implementation of the
MATATAG Curriculum, the Department laid out plans for its phased
implementation because teachers must be trained, and learning resources
need to be prepared and procured. It is in the context of looking at the
possible challenges in the implementation of the MATATAG curriculum.
