5.1 Progress on NCAAA Program Accreditation ( EMDS, ANTS, OCCT)
Dr. Alhawas had provided an update on the NCAAA accreditation
progress for Anesthesia, Emergency Medical Services and Occupational
Therapy.

The Self Evaluation Scale and SSRP of the respective programs have
been sent to the external reviewers for their review and input. The
deadline is 30 April 2023 and we haven’t received any updates yet. As a
result, the quality unit sent a gentle reminder and a follow up email to
inquire about the review status. Further, she had requested the program
chairmen to contact them personally and urge them to submit the
documents for presenting them to the University Quality Committee.

5.2 Eligibility Requirements ( RADS, ECAV, ICAV)

The QAAA unit had discussed the eligibility criteria for program
Accreditation of Radiology, ICVT and ECVT. All three programs lacked
surveys, course reports, assessment reports, KPI’s and program self-

Assessment plan. In ICVT, only one full time staff member is present, and
he is overburdened with a plethora of tasks and in ECVT, only one staff
has arrived after the completion of her PhD. in March 2023.

A fixed meeting every Thursday meeting would be called to check the

eligibility requirements. Four eligibility requirement meetings have been
conducted so far.

5.3 COAMS KPI Distribution Plan

Dr. Alhawas thanked all the Program Chairmen for their full cooperation
for assigning staff for each KPI. Accordingly, each KPI will be sent to the
respective staff and they should report back to the quality unit as per the
KPI timeline.

5.4 Quality Manual

The presiding chairman insisted that the updated College quality manual needs
to be discussed in the College council and upon approval, it needs to be
published. Each program needs to update their quality manual accordingly.
