40dy Sensuri's Return

10day Secudlos' and Vyrellis' divinations foretold the return of a particular giantess that Secudlos had
secretly angered. They brought this to the group's attention, and the adventurers decided to take
first action.
Jack and Celestino wanted to use diplomacy, but the other two insisted that their magical insights
had shown the situatin to be far beyond words. It had come down to kill, or be killed.

Jack let Foxfire's shield guardian borrow his eagle whistle for the fight.
That night, they snuck up to the cloud castle as close as they dared, and hopped into bags of
holding.
Fox and Achak in one. Celestino and Vyrellis in another. Secudlos stayed outside with Jack.
Jack and Secudlos Dimension Doored under the castle as Secudlos had done before. They stealthi
made their way toward the queen's chambers, flying on their carpets.
While they went, all party members quaffed some long lasting potions.
Did some scouting, and found that things had changed since they were last there. Many security
measures were in place, and new people were there. After setting off silent alarms, and alerting
the castle to intruders, they withdrew to try again. The second time was no more successful, and
the castle was on high alert for an extended period.

In the end, the adventurers were forced into a direct confrontation with most of the castle's forc
at once.
The battle was heavy, but the adventurers quickly reduced the enemy numbers, and beat the
giants half to death. Seeing this, the giant leaders fled, leaving their minions to die. Jack was able
to teleport ahead of one, the druid, and capture him. Secudlos made that giant his Thrall when
the party caught up.
They thoroughly iterrogated Count Thullen, and looted the castle.

30day Over the next month, the party (and others) worked tirelessly to replace and improve the castle
defenses. Favors were called in. Money was spent. Mini quests were undertaken. Rituals were
performed. At the end of the first month, things were looking very good, but they were far from
finished.
