TERM OF REFERENCE (TOR)

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES AND CALL FOR PAPERS


THE 2022 G20 BALI SUMMIT IN FOCUS: INDONESIA ON THE GLOBAL STAGE
January 24 - 25, 2023

1. Background
The 17th G20 Summit will be attended by several Heads of State and
Government in November 2022 in Bali with Indonesia as the President
this year. The G20 Bali Summit saw Indonesia as a rising regional power
with aspirations of global influence coupled with substantive in directing
international affairs as our world gradually emerges from the COVID-19
pandemic. As the G20 2022 motto “Recover Together, Recover Stronger”
suggests, how Indonesia stays on the right track with the main pillars of the
G20 after coming out of the pandemic
The conference seeks organized panels individual papers, proposals, and
research outlining the three main pillars of interest about Indonesia and
the world at the 2022 G20 Summit: Global Health Architecture,
Sustainable Energy Transition, and Digital Transformation. We look
forward to proposals/abstracts from scholars spanning the humanities,
health sciences, social sciences, environmental sciences, and digital
technology fields to enhance and diversify conference perspectives and
dialogues.

2. Objectives
a. To be able to see the pandemic changing, modifying, or hindering
Indonesia's national, regional and global goals, initiatives, and
trajectories.
b. To be able to see whether the G20 Summit in Bali can make a real
contribution to developed countries.

3. Date and Venue


The International Conference and Call for Papers The 2022 G20 Bali
Summit in Focus: Indonesia On The Global Stage, on January 24 – 25,
2023. The Venue of the International Conference and Call for Papers is in
the University of Widya Mataram, nDalem Mangkubumen KT III/237
Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

This conference will be held on January 24 – 25, 2023 for two days on a hybrid
basis with online and offline. The conference encourages scholars to present
relevant and insightful perspectives that add further context to the main G20
talking points
