1.

With diesel particulate filter (DPF)

Low ash engine oil MUST be used to ensure long service life of diesel particulate filter (DPF).

2.

Apply sealant to crankcase, cylinder head and timing cover mating surfaces.
Use new bolts A and B.
Tighten in the following stages:
A = 8-10 Nm Fig. 3
Fit bolts 1-10 finger tight Fig. 4 .
Bolts 1-2 = 25 Nm
Slacken off bolts A.
Bolts 3-10 = 25 Nm

Tighten bolts 1-10 in the following stages:

20 Nm
40 Nm
