1. MRI brain image enhancement using Histogram Equalization
techniques
In this era, Computerized field in digital image processing needs
efficient MRI image with less noise and improved contrast of image. The
main process examined and look at different Histogram based
enhancement techniques. Histogram equalization analyze on the bases
of Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) furthermore calculate the metrics
parameter of histogram techniques.

2. Image enhancement using Exposure based Sub Image Histogram
Equalization
This paper presents a novel Exposure based Sub-Image Histogram
Equalization (ESIHE) method for contrast enhancement for low
exposure gray scale image. Exposure thresholds are computed to divide
the original image into sub-images of different intensity levels. The
histogram is also clipped using a threshold value as an average number
of gray level occurrences to control enhancement rate.

3. Color image enhancement using histogram equalization method

without changing hue and saturation

In this paper, a color image enhancement method is presented by

using intensity histogram equalization (HE) approach without changing
hue and saturation in HSI color space. The proposed method has better
visual colorfulness than the conventional HE method because hue and
saturation are preserved in the enhancement process.

4. Unsupervised Low-Light Image Enhancement via Histogram
Equalization Prior

We propose an unsupervised low-light image enhancement

method based on an effective prior termed histogram equalization prior
(HEP). Our work is inspired by the interesting observation that the
feature maps of histogram equalization enhanced image and the
ground truth are similar. Specifically, we formulate the HEP to provide
abundant texture and luminance information. Embedded into a Light
Up Module (LUM), it helps to decompose the low-light images into
illumination and reflectance maps, and the reflectance maps can be
regarded as restored images.

5. Histogram Equalization for Image Enhancement Using MRI Brain

Images

Medical image processing plays an essential role in providing

information in wide area for such advanced images. Magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI) is an advanced medical imaging technique
providing rich information about the human soft tissue anatomy. MRI of
the brain is an invaluable tool to help physicians to diagnose and treat
various brain diseases including stroke, cancer, and epilepsy.

1. SMO-based System for identifying common lung conditions using

histogram
A radiograph is a visualization aid that physicians use in identifying
lung abnormalities. Although digitized x-ray images are available,
diagnosis by a medical expert through pattern recognition is done
manually. Thus, this paper presents a system that utilizes machine
learning for pattern recognition and classification of three lung
conditions, namely Normal, Pleural Effusion and Pneumothorax cases.
Using two histogram equalization techniques, the designed system
achieves an accuracy rate of 76.19% and 78.10% by using Sequential
Minimal Optimization (SMO).

2. Medical Chest X-ray Image Enhancement Based on CLAHE and

Wiener Filter for Deep Learning Data Preprocessing
In medical imaging, an X-ray image generated using a flat panel
detector (digital) typically has poor image quality, affecting the
capability of successful medical diagnosis based on the images. The
image enhancement process intends to provide better interpretability
of the information contained in the images. The main problems
considered for medical images include poor quality and low contrast.

3. Combining Image Enhancement Techniques and Deep Learning for
Shallow Water Benthic Marine Litter Detection
The scarcity of information about benthic marine litter especially
in developing countries hampers the implementation of targeted
actions to minimize the extent of its impacts. This study developed a
system using image processing and deep learning methods for
detecting/tracking marine macro litter that can efficiently identify and
quantify its amount in benthic environments in shallow coastal areas.

4. Automated Human Identification through Dental Image

Enhancement and Analysis
Every individual has a unique identity like dental feature in which
variations in tooth morphology, size, shape, missing tooth, and other
characteristics are known. Hence, when uncovering a person's identity,
developing a dental profile based on the body at hand is an accurate
start.

5. Developing image processing techniques for estimating eggplant

trichome density
Eggplant leaf trichomes have been documented to be an insect
resistance factor especially for sucking insects. Trichomes serves as a
mechanical barrier that impede feeding and oviposition of leafhopper.
Characterization of trichomes of eggplant germplasm is labor-intensive
and prone to bias.
