This year, as one of the highlights of the commemorative activities of the 121st Labor Day
Celebration, the Department of Labor and Employment will conduct a job fair with the theme
“Pabahay, Bilihing Abot-Presyo, Benepisyo Ng Matatag Na Trabaho Para Sa
Manggagawang Pilipino” which aims to promote employment, business, and livelihood
opportunities to job seekers and other clients. This is one of the country’s employment recovery
strategies to restart economic activities, restore consumer and business confidence, upgrade
and retool the workforce, and facilitate labor market access.

This job fair activity is one of the most remarkable events that bring together organizations from
various sectors including governmental, non-governmental, private, international, and bilateral
organizations under one roof with highly competitive and professional job seekers: thereby
serving as the platform for an open and wide-ranging employment opportunities.

In light of this, we'd like to invite TESDA and TVET graduates to our Job Skills Matching Activity
on April 24, 2023, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Furthermore, we would like to request that the
above-mentioned activity be held at the TESDA Regional Office VIII covered court for the
convenience of your TVET graduates. This initiative aims to connect TVET graduates and
companies prior to the Labor Day Job Fair. This is open to any TESDA alumni looking for work,
regardless of qualification.
