SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN RESOLUTION NO. 01

SERIES OF 2020
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING TO THE KATIPUNAN NG MGA KABATAAN (KK) THE
APPROVAL OF THE 2020 SK COMPREHENSIVE BARANGAY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
PLAN (CBYDP) OF BARANGAY 1-S – VALDEZ, CITY OF BATAC, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS
NORTE.

WHEREAS, the SK Reform Act of 2015 has abolished the Task Force on Youth
Development and consequently given authority to the newly elected members of the
Sangguniang Kabataan to formulate their Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan,
Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program and Annual Budget respectively;

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742 otherwise known as the SK Reform Act of 2015
requires the formulation of a 3-year Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan
(CBYDP) which embodies development programs, projects and activities of the Sangguniang
Kabataan (SK);

WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan shall be prepared

by the Sangguniang Kabataan in consultation and concurrence of the Katipunan ng mga
Kabataan serving as basis in the preparation of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment
Program (ABYIP) and other local youth development plans in the barangay;

NOW THEREFORE, on the motion of SK Kagawad, Hon. Abigail Faith C. Gaoat, duly
seconded by the body.

BE IT RESOLVE, as it is hereby resolved that the Comprehensive Youth Development

Plan of Barangay 1-S – Valdez, City of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte be presented, reviewed,
approved and adopted by the Katipunan ng mga Kabataan (KK);

RESOLVED FURTHER that copies of the Comprehensive Barangay Youth

Development Plan be furnished to the Sangguniang Barangay, Sangguniang Panlungsod and
Department of the Interior and Local Government for their reference.

ADOPTED this 5th of January, 2020.

I HEREBY CERTIFY to the correctness of the aforementioned Sangguniang Kabataan

Resolution during its regular session held last January 5, 2020.
