Cách dùng: Thì quá khứ đơn dùng để diễn tả hành động hoặc sự việc đã xảy ra và kết
thúc trong quá khứ.

Những từ để nhận diện thì quá khứ:

 “Last” – Lần trước/lần cuối: last year, last summer, last week, last month,…
 Thời gian + “Ago” – Bao lâu trước đó: 3 weeks ago, 2 years ago, a month ago,…
 “Yesterday” – Ngày hôm qua.
