FERVENTLY REQUESTING THE HONORABLE SENATOR __________________________ FOR POSSIBLE ASSISTANCE FOR
THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS UNDER THE GENERAL ANNUAL APPROPRIATION FOR YEAR 2024 FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A SPORTS STADIUM IN THE ____________________

WHEREAS, as provided for under the Philippine Constitution, the fundamental law of the land, the Stat shall promote physical
education and encourage sports programs, league competitions and amateur sports games, including trainings
for international competitions to foster self-discipline, team work and excellence for the development of a healthy
and alert young citizens;
WHEREAS, Section 16 of the Local Government Code, under the General Welfare Clause, also provides that the Local
Government Units shall endeavor to be self-reliant and shall continue to exercise the powers and discharge their
duties and functions vested upon them such other roles and responsibilities as are necessary, appropriate or
incidental to be efficient and effective provisions of the essential services and facilities enumerated therein;
WHEREAS, the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) with its policy direction that aims to improve the present sports facilities
and to erect new sports facilities throughout that country as par with global standards. Further, aims to make
sports facilities accessible to the greatest number of Filipinos through a grassroots sports program that generates
healthy lifestyle and globally competitive athletes;
WHEREAS, the Honorable Senator _______________ is a fellow ___________, being a native ____________, (background
of the Senator), hence the City of __________ through this Council, seek for the backing support of good senator
for this humble dream to establish a Sports Stadium in the City of ________________;
WHEREAS, The City of ____________, hailed as the capital of the island province of Masbate, is home to major institutions
that serve the entire ____________ citizenry. It is also considered the province's primary educational center, with
a variety of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and public and private elementary and secondary schools.
Because of the presence of these institutions, the City of _____________ is in charge of providing social services
to the entire Province. The City of ____________ is an excellent partner in inclusive provincial development due
to its strategic geographic location, which provides easy access to both northern and southern municipalities.
WHEREAS, A sports stadium is a location or venue for mostly outdoor sports, concerts, or other events that consists of a field
stage, either concert or party, completely surrounded by a tiered structure designed to allow spectators to stand
or sit and watch the event.
WHEREAS, with the newly established ___________ Sports Academy in the province, a dynamic boarding school for student-
athletes, an institution that will provide intervention that is designed to holistically develop and produce
____________ athletes of tomorrow who will make the province known in the field of sports;
WHEREAS, _____________ is the home of the country's best footballers, and universities and colleges come to the province
to scout ____________ football/ soccer players. Similarly, ______________ athletes for truck and field,
taekwondo and swimming are just among the few by which the ___________ athletes excel at regional and
national sporting events.
WHEREAS, With the establishment of a potential Sports Stadium in _________ City, sports enthusiasts, coaches, and
_____________ athletes will have a great opportunity to explore and hone their skills and talents. It will also serve
as a venue for larger events that require a larger crowd, such as concerts and conventions, so the City Council
deemed it appropriate to request the good Senator for the assistance for the allocation of funds under the GAA
year 2024;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of ________________, duly seconded by all the members present, BE lT:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to earnestly fervently requesting the Honorable Senator ________________ for possible
assistance for the allocation of funds under the General Annual Appropriation for year 2024 for the establishment
of a Sports Stadium in the City of ___________;

RESOLVED FINALLY, to furnish copies of the resolution to ________________________________o and all concerned
offices for their information, guidance and appropriate action.
