ANSWER

The chart illustrates how much money people spent on five distinct commodities between
England and France in 2010.

Overall, British people spent more money than the French, most noticeably with regard to
cameras and books. Additionally, for both countries, cars witnessed the most expenditure
while the opposite was true for perfume.

Both British and French people spent the most on cars. Particularly, in 2010, the French spent
400,000 pounds sterling on cars, roughly 50,000 less than the figure for England. Meanwhile,
in the same year, perfume was the least consumed commodity, with 200,000 pounds spent in
France and close to 150,000 pounds spent in England.

Regarding computers, the difference in spending between the two countries was negligible,
with 350,000 pounds spent by British people, only 20,000 pounds less than that of the
French. Meanwhile, French people spent 300,000 pounds sterling for books, whereas the
British spent an additional 100,000 pounds for the same product. Finally, with cameras,
French people’s expenditure was 150,000 pounds sterling, almost half of the figures for the
British.
