At TSMS we have always believed in inculcating sensitivity towards all communities and
fostering in our students a sense of responsibility and desire to be the agents of social
change.

We are pleased to inform you that we will be conducting two sessions on the science of
crowdfunding scheduled on Friday, 05.07.2024 and Tuesday, 09.07.2024.

The crowdfunding session will be conducted by Mr. Ranganath Thota (Founder of

Fueladream.com).

Fueladream teaches crowdfunding as a science and a life skill. It marries storytelling,

technology, communication skills, and consumer behaviour. Students learning to
crowdfund are in a unique position to impact others through supporting social causes
and can also use it to fund their own ideas and innovations. Their online footprint
improves dramatically as the campaign appears on a google search and helps with
admissions to colleges, etc. hence, our school has made it a part of its SUPW program.

They have successfully engaged with over 20000+ students across 110+ schools across
India. Our school has worked with them before with much success.

There are no costs to the school or to the students to participate.

In addition, all students will get an e-certificate after the campaign ends.

Why is crowdfunding critical for students?

The schedule for the Introduction and Training sessions are given below:

Session 1- Introduction to crowd funding: Friday, 05.07.2024.

Session 2- A deep-dive training session: Tuesday, 09.07.2024 (for registered students).

Following are the form wise initiatives that will be taken up by the students
through crowdfunding:

Classes 8 & 9: Greensole initiative (Back to school kits)

Classes 10, 11 & 12: Go Girl Foundation initiative (Re-usable Sanitary Pads)

Crowdfunding in summary is a wonderful way for a child to learn a life skill,
build empathy. It will also teach them to understand how they can leverage
technology to make the world a better place. Students who learn this also
leverage it for their own projects - from social impact projects to science projects,
start-up funding, etc.

All the campaigns will be launched by approximately 8:00 pm on 09.07.2024. For
