Our school will be sending a number of selected students coming from different campus and college
organizations for the Tenth Philippines I Transform! Young Leaders Convention (PITYLC) on August
17 to 22, 2023 at Teacher’s Camp in Baguio City with the theme, “A Decade of Action: Championing
Sustainable Communities.” The central purpose of this annual gathering is to ratify and fosters
transformational leadership, to exhilarate action among young leaders and their organizations, to
enable their capacities in thinking and working together, to impact their communities, supporting the
Global Agenda which is the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In this connection, we would like to ask permission from your good office to allow us to join the said
activity on the above mentioned dates. Moreover, the budget will be charge from The Crest fund.
Attached herewith are the letter and list of names of The Crest editorial board who will participate for
the upcoming Tenth Philippines I Transform! Young Leaders Convention (PITYLC).

Respectfully endorsed to Dr. Mary Josephine C. Bautista the resolution No. 001-23, a
resolution to allow us to withdraw the amount of FOURTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP.
40,000.OO) as a budget for the Tenth Philippines I Transform! Young Leaders
Convention (PITYLC) with a theme “A Decade of Action: Championing Sustainable
Communities.” on August 17-22 2023. This intends The Crest to ratify and foster
transformational leadership and exhilarate action as campus journalists.

An excerpt from the minutes of meeting of The Crest Editorial Board, dated July 31, 2023.
Whereas, the selected The Crest staff will participate in this convention to ratify and foster
transformational leadership and to exhilarate action as a journalists.
Whereas, they will apply the knowledge that they will gain from this convention for the
improvement of their organization.
Whereas, this convention will develop their leadership skills, competences and commitments
as leaders and journalists.
Therefore, upon the motion of Kate Angela L. Leysa, The Crest Editor-In-Chief and seconded
by Jiana Olid, The Crest Managing Editor, be it resolved as it is hereby resolve that the
resolution to request the amount of FOURTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP. 40,000.OO) as
a budget for the Tenth Philippines I Transform! Young Leaders Convention
(PITYLC) with a theme “A Decade of Action: Championing Sustainable
Communities” on August 17-22 2023 be approved.

Our school will be sending a number of selected students coming from different campus and

Crest to join the said event.
In this connection, we are asking permission to allow these students to be excused from
their respective classes starting on August 17, 2023 (date of departure) until August 22,
2023.
Attached herewith is the list of selected students to travel at Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City on
the said event and dates.
