Excluding any offshore activity

Period of Insurance: 12 Months effective from 23-Jun-2024 up to 22-Jun-2025
Cover: This policy will indemnify the insured in respect of all sums which the insured will
become legally liable to pay compensation according to the law described below,
for injury sustained by an insured employee arising out of and in the course of their
employment with the insured's business
Employer's Liability: QAR 1,000,000.00/- Any one occurrence and unlimited in the aggregate
Est. Annual Wages: Category 2: Non Admin/Manual Labourers/Site QAR 487,200.00/- as
Supervisors/Drivers/Site Engineers gross
Est. nbr of Employees: Category 2: Non Admin/Manual Labourers/Site 18 employees
Supervisors/Drivers/Site Engineers
Conditions: As per Arabia Standard policy wording including:
-Employee to Employee Liability extension
-Automatic addition/deletion of employees
-In case the Company settles these taxes and fees on behalf of the insured and/or the
beneficiary in execution of the law, the Company has the right to request the
insured and/or the beneficiary to settle back these dues to the Company within a
period of one week from the date of its request. In case the insured and/or the
beneficiary fails to settle the taxes and fees due within this notice period, the
Company shall, at its sole discretion, have the right to terminate the insurance
policy and deduct the subject taxes and fees from the premiums settled.
-The insured and/or the beneficiary undertakes to settle all the taxes and fees
incurred under this policy and which are considered due by virtue of the applicable
laws and their related Executive regulations, circulars and decisions, or by virtue of
any other law issued by the relevant authorities in the State of Qatar.
-Including Insureds related Social and sports activities (for nonprofessionals)
-24 Hours cover for work related accidents including overtime, night-work and on
public holidays
-Cover for Hernia, Heatstroke, Sunstroke & Muscle Strain caused due to work
accidents
-Including Insureds Employees/New Employees Whilst On Flights and/ Or
Commuting from/To Country of Work provided they are not part of the flight as
aircraft crew
-24 hours coverage for non-work related Death & PTD only, subject to standard PA
exclusions
-Cancellation clause-30 days by either side on pro-rata
-Including risk of Transportation of employees to & from the place of work
-Employees to include persons on their sponsorship and/or their payroll
-Including Cover for Employees on Temporary Hire for whom the Insured is
responsible and on the Insured’s Payroll but not under their sponsorship provided
all the legal formalities are finalized prior to start of work
-Automatic cover for all employees under the Insured’s sponsorship / wageroll with
quarterly declaration and premium adjustment
-Legal defense costs and expenses within the overall limit of liability
-Indemnity to Principal Clause, if contractually required
-Including Waiver of Subrogation against name insured only
-Including Diya Clarification Clause; Including cover for any difference between
Labour Law compensation and Diya money if any awarded
-Including First day of disability
-Accidental Medical Expenses (Including occupational diseases). Sub-limit: QAR
25,000 per person per accident in Country of Work Private / Government Hospitals
/ Clinics
-Funeral Expenses if Repatriation is not possible/required: Limit QAR 5,000 per
person
-Repatriation Expenses up to a maximum limit of QAR 25,000 per person including
accompanying person
-Increased Death and Permanent Total Disability Benefit: QAR 200,000
-Including medical treatment outside Country of Work subject to expenses not
exceeding Qatar Medical Costs
Exclusions: -Encephalopathy and Toxic Moulds
-Excluding while employees on flights for work related activities
-Consequential losses
-Offshore activities and operations
-Any subaqueous work
-Liability as a result of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)
-Emerging Risks (Electromagnetic Fields, Genetically Modified Organisms,
Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy and Toxic Molds)
-Cyber Risks Clarification Agreement Clause
-Political Risks Exclusion Clause
-Sickness and/or illness
-Total Asbestos
-Seepage, Pollution and Contamination
-Nuclear Energy Risks
-Absolute Fungi Liability
-Radioactive
-Sanction and Limitation
-COVID 19 and all Infectious diseases are excluded
-Terrorism Exclusion Clause
-War, Sabotage
-Death or disability due to any disease including industrial diseases
-Electromagnetic field exposure
-Oil and Gas risk
Warranty: -Transportation Clause: Motor third party liability insurance of the vehicles at fault
shall bear the primary responsibility for personal injury liabilities arising from
traffic accidents. Liability under this insurance shall only be secondary to such
motor third party liability insurance covers
-Warranted that Insured will take all precautionary and safety measures
Subjectivities: Clean loss record for the last 3 years or less than 50% based on the proposed
premium rate of AIC to be confirmed in writing prior to cover binder
Deductible: Nil
Premium: QAR 810.00/-
