1. Scope of Work

1.1. ACB (Air Circuit Breaker)

The ACB (Air Circuit breaker) this specification describes the general requirements governing the design
of 1kV /3200AMS with Cradle Indoor Switchgear and control gear fully type tested according to IEC
60947-2 standards. The design of the switchgear shall be exclusive and specific responsibility of Bidder
and shall comply with current good engineering practice, the relevant codes and recommendation, the
project specific requirements.
The Circuit Breaker shall confirm to IEC-60947-2.

1.2. Standards
The electrical switchgears and the relevant equipment shall be designed, manufactured and tested
according to the latest version of:
IEC-60947-2 Common Specifications for Switchgear & Control gear
IEC-60947-2 Circuit Breakers
Above 1kV and up to and including 12kV and the IEC Code herein
Referred, any other codes recognized in the country of origin of equipment might be considered
provided that they fully comply with IEC standards.
The design of the switchgear shall be based on safety to personnel and equipment during operation and
maintenance, reliability of service, ease of maintenance, mechanical protection of equipment,
interchangeability of equipment and ready addition of future loads.

the design of 12kV /1250AMS Indoor Switchgear and control gear fully type tested according to IEC
62271-100 standards. The design of the switchgear shall be exclusive and specific responsibility of
Bidder and shall
comply with current good engineering practice, the relevant codes and recommendation, the project
specific requirements.
The Circuit Breaker shall confirm to IEC-62271-100.

2.2.1Standards
The electrical switchgears and the relevant equipment shall be designed, manufactured and tested
according to the latest version of:
IEC 62271-1 Common Specifications for Switchgear & Control gear
IEC 62271-100 Circuit Breakers
Above 1kV and up to and including 72kV and the IEC Code herein
Referred, any other codes recognized in the country of origin of equipment might be considered
provided that they fully comply with IEC standards.
The design of the switchgear shall be based on safety to personnel and equipment during operation
and maintenance, reliability of service, ease of maintenance, mechanical protection of equipment,
interchangeability of equipment and ready addition of future loads.

Minimum 1 years Warranty of the unit

Brand should be (LS ELECTRIC – MADE IN KOREA)

Test Certificate. (General Inspection & functional test, Electronic trip by using test kit & ETU settings,
Secondary injection Test, Insulation resistance Test, Electrical/Functional Test)

All documents should be in English language. .(drawing, test certificate and manuals)

Bidder to provide all the electrical drawings for the units

Bidder to provide all the operation and the maintenance manuals

2. Instruction to Tenders.
1. Download attached ‘Request for Quotation’.
2. Clarifications only through ASYAD’s Drydock Services Procurement Portal (procureware.com) before the Clarif
ication deadline.
3. Submission only through ASYAD’s Drydock Services Procurement Portal (procureware.com) before the Due d
ate.
4. All documents and submission to be uploaded in ASYAD’s Drydock Services Procurement Portal (procureware
.com) in two separate envelops.
5. Clarification and submission outside of Procureware will NOT be entertained.
6. Submission beyond the Due Date will NOT be entertained.
7. ADC comes under free zone category and are considered as Zero rated
