For the first time ever, this unique collaboration brings forth a comprehensive
FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAM – DHAN DRISHTI, awarded the Silver
Medal in the category Best Innovation in Teaching Methodology instituted by The
Economic Times; a program aimed at equipping our students with essential knowledge
and skills in financial management.

Christ University Bangalore, renowned for its expertise in commerce and management
education, brings a wealth of academic excellence and practical insights to this program.
Their trainers will lead interactive sessions designed to engage and educate our students
effectively. DHAN DRISHTI, the financial literacy program of Christ University stands out
as a beacon of innovation and student-centric initiative in the realm of finance education and
inclusion. FLP places students at the forefront, enabling them to be both trainees and trainers
ensuring continuity of learning. In essence, DHAN DRISHTI embodies a paradigm shift in
educational philosophy, where students are not just passive recipients of knowledge but active
catalysts for societal transformation.

This course aims to provide high school students (grades 9-10) with essential financial skills
and knowledge needed for personal financial management. Students will learn about
budgeting, saving, banking, credit, taxes, and financial planning.

This course aims to equip the senior school students (grades 11 and 12) with advanced
financial skills and knowledge necessary for personal and professional financial management.
Students will explore budgeting, saving, investing, banking, credit management, taxes,
insurance, and financial planning

Program Overview:

• Objective: The program aims to impart practical knowledge about financial concepts
and skills necessary for making informed financial decisions in the future.
• To enhance financial awareness by providing a deeper understanding of financial
concepts, its applications, and tools.
• To equip students with essential financial skills enabling them to make informed
decisions and become proactive change-makers in their communities
• To empower the student trainers to apply theoretical and conceptual knowledge learnt
in the classroom through peer-to-peer pedagogy
• To facilitate the development of leadership skills among the participants by engaging
in peer-to-peer learning and knowledge sharing
• Duration: The program will span over 10 weeks, with sessions scheduled for 3 Hours
(2 hours Online and 1 hour offline on working Saturdays).
• Mode of Delivery: Hybrid
• Regular Assessment and Feedback: End of every 3 weeks
 • At the end of the program the student will receive a certificate issued by CIMA
(Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) UK.
• Content: Topics covered will include basics of budgeting, savings, investments,
understanding banking services, and managing personal finances effectively.
