Important Notice to Customers-
From 15th July 2022 Revised Service charges will be applicable that is INR 3518 and INR 3093
respectively. Hence any customer who has paid the service charges of INR 3380 and INR 2955 will need to
pay the differential amount at the visa application centre.The differential amount can be paid in either cash
or through card at the Visa Application Centre
Important Notice to Customers-Document Scanning -Speedy scanning preparation to save you time when
submitting your documents to us.
With effect from 1st June 2021 VFS Global will help with sorting and arranging your supporting documents
for your visa application. Your documents will be arranged using the required barcode separators, saving
you time as they are scanned for submission and sent directly to The Embassy of Ireland.
1)Therefore, any documents which are smaller or larger than A4 size should be photocopied onto A4 sized
paper, ensuring that the document is clearly legible.
2)Torn, crumpled or heavily creased documents cannot be scanned and therefore should be photocopied
onto A4 sized paper before they are submitted.
3)Documents should not be stapled or laminated.

Information on Covid-19 Please note: Your safety is our priority. Customers visiting our Visa Application
Centres may be subjected to body temperature checks to assess their health conditions and may be
required to wear face mask and gloves. Customers exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, including fever (higher
than 38 degrees Celsius), cough and difficulty breathing will be allowed to reschedule their appointment for
another day and will be advised to seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility of their
choice.Apart from the safety procedures conducted, please note that
1. In the interest of maintaining social distancing inside the office it is mandatory for all applicants to avail
courier service for return of processed applications from VFS.
2. Please note, to maintain social distancing VFS Ireland Visa Application Centre won’t be allowing any walk
in without appointment applicants.

What documents do I need to bring?

• Original passport
• Online filled Visa Application Form
• Copies of passport and previous visas
• Original Bank payment / Electronic Fund Transfer receipt for payment done
• Original and Copy of Bank Receipt in case of Repatriation / Bank Guarantee paid in
Department of Home Affairs Account
• Appointment Letter
• Supporting Documents for the application as per checklist provided
• Supplementary form based on the visa category in order to download the supplementary

Security rules at the Visa Facilitation Centre

Under instruction from the Department of Home Affairs:

• Applicants are allowed to enter the centre.


• Any person allowed to enter the Visa Facilitation Centre is subject to security controls;

Due to security reasons, the following items will not be permitted inside the Visa Facilitation
Centre, nor stored in the premises:

• All battery-operated or electronic gadgets such as cameras, audio / video cassettes,


compact discs, MP3's, floppies, laptops, or portable music players;
• All bags such as travel bags, back packs, briefcases, suitcases, leather, jute or clothbags
and zip folders. Only a plastic bag containing your documents necessary for your
application would be permitted;
• Sealed envelopes or packages;
• Any inflammable item such as matchboxes / lighters / fuel, etc.
• Any sharp objects such as scissors, pen knives…
• Any weapon or weapon like objects or explosive material of any kind.

The list provided above is not finite. Other items may be prohibited based on security staff
discretion.

There is no facility at the Visa & Permit Facilitation Centre to store prohibited items. Therefore,
applicants are requested to make alternate arrangements to keep the same before entry into the
Centre.

Track your application

After the submission of the application, the file is


transferred to the Department of Home Affairs
for processing and decision making.

You can track your application to check when your processed application is ready for collection at
the Visa & Permit Facilitation Centre. To track your application, you need the reference number
mentioned on the receipt that was handed to you on your submission day on the website under
‘Track Your Application’ link.

Collection of Processed Application

Please collect processed applications from our Visa & Permit Facilitation Centre where the
application was submitted. Original passport will be required as applicant’s proof of identity and
pasting of the visa label in front of the applicant in some cases. Processed applications will not be
returned to applicants / representatives in case they fail to carry the original passport.

Collection time: 09h00 – 15h00 (Monday – Friday except public holidays)

Representative must provide an original Photo ID with an Authority Letter if collecting the decision
on behalf of the applicant/s. The Authority Letter should clearly state the following: -

- Name of the Representative collecting the decision.


- Photo ID number of the Representative.
- Applicant signature as signed on the appli cation form and passport.
- Invoice Cum Receipt provided during application submission (photocopy not allowed) only
original will be accepted.
