Work Experience
Grand India IoT Innovation Challenge IIT Kanpur, India
TEAM LEADER | TEAM SANCAGO Aug. 2018 - Dec. 2018
• Developed a solution for securing the pharmaceutical supply chain using Hyperledger and Internet of Things even for places having con-
nectivity issues.
• Using sensors and RaspberryPi built a prototype that could transmit data over long ranges using LoRa module to a server hosted on AWS.
• Designed an MVP, demonstrating a system for temperature monitoring and control during transit using temperature sensors and actuators.
• Reached national level finals (top 9), out of 757 applicants from all across India.
Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition 2018 IIT Kanpur, India
TEAM IGVC IIT KANPUR | MENTOR: PROF. MANGAL KOTHARI Aug. 2017 - Jun. 2018
• Designed and manufactured mechanical components like Castor suspension and variable sensor mounts of the ground vehicle.
• Built a custom ROS mapping and obstacle detection package which used two LiDARs attached at front and back of the vehicle.
• Project funded by Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), India.
• Finished 5th in the Design Challenge out 36 teams from all around the world.
Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition 2017 IIT Kanpur, India
TEAM IGVC IIT KANPUR | MENTOR: PROF. MANGAL KOTHARI Aug. 2016 - Jun. 2017
• Built a controller for autonomous GPS navigation of the ground vehicle and tested it on systems which used Arduino and Intel NUC.
• Implemented and compared different navigation methods which use IMU, GPS, Encoders for navigating in unknown environments.
• Read research papers on GPS localisation in order to devise a method to increase the precision of a consumer grade GPS module.
• Developed a primitive lane detection algorithm by implementing basic thresholding using OpenCV.

Projects
Model of Space Shuttle IIT Kanpur, India
TA201A COURSE PROJECT | MENTOR: PROF. VIVEK VERMA Jan. 2018 - Apr. 2018
• Lead a team of five students to design a static model of Columbia Space Shuttle using Solidworks.
• Manufactured parts of the model using sheet metal working, casting and joined them using welding, brazing.
Mechanical Ticket Printing Machine IIT Kanpur, India
TA202A COURSE PROJECT | MENTOR: PROF. J.RAMKUMAR Aug. 2017 - Nov. 2017
• Spearheaded a team of five towards creating a mechanically operated ticket printing and cutting machine.
• Created a model using softwares like Fusion 360 and Solidworks by analysing the gear ratios and power transfer in the mechanical system.
• Manufactured components which included gears and geneva drive using milling, lathing, CNC machining processes and drilling.
Semi-Autonomous Quadrotor IIT Kanpur, India
SUMMER PROJECT | AEROMODELLING CLUB Jun. 2017 - Jul. 2017
• Implemented Off-Board Control by integrating Raspberry Pi with Pixhawk flight controller.
• Wrote a controller for autonomous take-off and hover of the quadrotor and implemented using 3DR DroneKit API.
• Assembled a quadroter from scratch, learnt the working of various sensors and learnt how to pilot the quadrotor manually using RC transmitter.
