About Us
Trade Finance Company is a global holding company with an international presence. We
have a presence in USA, UK, Switzerland, and the UAE. We are also putting our presence
in South-East Asia where we have just opened an office in Malaysia, Philippines, Hong
Kong and Thailand. And we will soon have our presence in Singapore and Indonesia. We
are also in the process of setting up offices in most African countries as well as in India,
Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Our team has executed over 40,000 international trade and financial transactions in over
100 countries.
TFC is a direct financial instrument issuer, and not a broker. Our instruments have been
successfully accepted by leading banks such as HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank
of China, Commerzbank of Germany and many more. We issue and arrange issuance of
bank instruments such as, Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees and Standby Letters of
Credit.
We have credit lines available with top banks including Standard Chartered Bank and
Development Bank of Singapore (DBS) as well as with smaller banks globally.
Our company provides unsecured financial instrument via the open market and banks to
businesses for imports of goods and for raising capital. We trade with our own accounts
as principals and charge a fee for providing the instruments to clients. We are also
known as ACCOUNTSHOLDERS and not brokers.
In addition, we do not get involve in financial instrument monetization or the issuance of
financial instruments for clients to trade on the forex market (FX). In short, we do not
issue a Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) or Bank Guarantee (BG) for anyone to go to
London market, Dubai market, Hong Kong market, or Singapore market to monetize it.
Also, we don’t do buying and selling of instruments. We accept all type of commodities
(perishable and non-perishable) except Brazilian sugar and Nigeria oil. Also, we accept
coal, timber, palm oil and tobacco.

Our minimum transaction is $250k for Letters of Credit and $500k for Standby Letters
of Credit and Bank Guarantees, and we do not have a maximum transaction value. Our
maximum transaction value depends on the experience of the client in the same type of
business. Our issuing fees range from 1%–7%. 1% for large instrument sizes and 7% for
small instrument sizes. We charge flat fees based on the face value of the transactions.
We do not charge annualized fees.
In general, we are financial instrument providers to the banks' clients who may not have
collateral security to secure their banking facilities. We provide unsecured financial
products to support quality banking transactions which might otherwise not be
completed because of collateral security. Also, most of our transactions are referred to
us by local banks, microfinance companies, leasing companies, importers and exporters
of commodities and general merchandise.
