Date: 10 January, 2024 "Life Flourishes Here: Exploring the interconnection of Ecosystem and Biodiversity in local Habitat" Content: This project aims to investigate the intricate web of relationships within ecosystems, uncovering the profound impacts of biodiversity loss on human health and well-being in Bangladesh. By examining the interplay between ecosystems, infectious diseases, and human activities, the research seeks to highlight the critical role of biodiversity conservation in safeguarding public health and fostering sustainable livelihoods. Methodology: Employing a multidisciplinary approach, the project will involve field expeditions, biodiversity surveys. We'll collect biological samples, analyze ecological data, and map disease patterns. By conducting scaled-down surveys and observations, the research endeavors to identify correlations between ecosystem disruptions, pathogen transmission, and human health outcomes and to explore the diversity of plants, insects, and wildlife in our immediate environment. The focus is to understand how changes in these ecosystems may impact our daily lives and well-being. Expected Results: This anticipates producing a detailed account of the biodiversity present within our environment. By analyzing our observations and survey data using basic statistical tools, we aim to identify patterns and correlations between biodiversity and potential health indicators. The project's outcomes will include presentations within our community and local events to raise awareness about the importance of preserving local ecosystems for our healthy living.
