We will kick of the event with kids races aimed at introducing the next generation to
multisport events, and followed by the National Day Run, which is a family-friendly
fun run where you can shakeout your legs before the big day. The main event on
Saturday is a sprint distance duathlon, where you will start with a 5K run, followed by
a 20K bike ride, and then a 2.5K run to the finish.
I know that many of you have been training hard for this race, and I am confident
that you will all do amazing things. But even if you are not a seasoned athlete, I
encourage you to give it your best shot.
The Kingdom Duathlon is a great way to challenge yourself and see what you are
capable of. In addition to the physical challenge, the Kingdom Duathlon is also a
great opportunity to experience the beauty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The race will take you through some of the most stunning scenery in the King
Abdulaziz Equestrian Club. Thank you to the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia for the
opportunity to run and ride on these beautiful grounds. I am so grateful to all of the
volunteers who have helped to make this event possible. Please take a moment
during your race experience to thank or show any signs of gratitude to the fantastic
