COMMITTEE ON THANKSGIVING MASS

Expectations:
 Plan for flowers, candles, and other decorations to improve the ambiance.
 Assist the Priest and his companion with a post-mass reception for attendees to share a meal
or refreshments.
 Make sure that hymns, readings, and prayers are delivered flawlessly.
 The Thanksgiving Mass committee is expected to arrive early to set up and ensure the Mass
begins on time.
 Prepare the basket for the collection of offerings or donations.
 Coordinate with the Parish Priest and concelebrate Priest on the mass schedule and address
any other related matters concerning the Thanksgiving Mass.
 Ensure that the stipend for the Mass is ready.
 Ensure that there is a tent and extra chairs outside the chapel.
 A day before the event, check that the audio system produces sound that can be heard clearly
outside the chapel.
 Coordinate the offerings at the Thanksgiving Mass with the designated colleges.
