MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
-Yarn: Alize Cotton Gold 67 Light Beige, Alize Cotton Gold 152 Dark Beige,
YarnArt JEANS 88 Yellow, YarnArt JEANS 62 White, Gazzal Baby Cotton 3467
Dark Green, Gazzal Jeans 1118 Powder Pink
-Black, Brown and White embroidery thread
-2,2/2.5 mm crochet hook
-Safety eyes black 10 mm
-Soft stuffing
-stich maker
-scissors
-knitting needles

Finished size - about 26 cm if using similar yarn.

ABBREVIATIONS:
ch - chain
R - round
st - stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
hdc - half double crochet
tr - treble crochet
sl st - slip stitch
dcdec - double crochet two together
blo - back loop only
dec- decrease
inc- increase

NOTES:
-Work in a continuos spiral unless otherwise stated. Do not join rounds.
-Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the beginning of round.
-Change yarn always in the last step of the last stitch.
-Stuff your amigurumi as you go.
-Fasten off your work with needle join and you’ll get a neat result.

Light Beige

MUZZLE
Light Beige
R1: magic circle with 6st (6)

R5-6: 1sc in each st (24)
Cut the yarn and leaving long tail for sewing.
Sew the muzzle on the head between eyes over rounds 15-23,
Stuff the muzzle with fiberfill before closing the hole.

HORNS X2
Dark Beige and Light Beige
Start with Dark Beige yarn:
R1: magic circle with 6st (6)
R2: 6inc (12)
R3: 3sc, inc [x3] (15)
R4-5: 1sc in each st (15)
R6: 1sc, dec [x5] (10)
R7: 3sc, dec [x2] (8)
Change color to Light Beige
R8-13: 1sc in each st (8)
Stuff the horn with fiberfill.
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.
Sew the horns on the head over rounds 3-5.

EARS X2
Light Beige
R1: magic circle with 4st (4)
R2: 4inc (8)
R3-4: 1sc in each st (8)
R5: 1sc, inc [x4] (12)
R6: 1sc in each st (12)

Do not stuff. Fold in half and join with sl st.

Close with sl st in the first st.
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.
Sew the face patches on the head over rounds 18-20, keep a distance about 3st from the muzzle.

Embroider the details of the face with black, brown and white yarn as shown on the pictures.

Start with Dark Beige yarn
R1: magic circle with 6st (6)

R4: 1sc in each st - blo (18)
R5-6: 1sc in each st (18)

Change color to Light Beige:
R8: 1sc in each st (12)

Stuff the leg with fiberfill.
Cut the yarn and fasten off your work.
Crochet the second leg in the same way, but after round 20 do not break the yarn this time.
This is the new beginning of your next rounds.

TAIL
Light Beige and Dark Beige
Part 1 (Light Beige)
R1: ch10, insert your hook into the 2-nd ch from hook:
R2: 9sc (9)
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.
Part 2 (Dark Beige)
Cut 3 pieces of yarn, pull the yarn through the tip of the tail
and trim if it is too long.
Sew the tail to the body between the legs, about rounds 29-30.

Attach the thread to the first row and crochet: 1sc, 3dc in next st - repeat to the end.
Put the blouse on the giraffe and sew it on the back.

TROUSERS
Yellow
Trouser leg x2
R1: ch16 and close it with sl st to a ring into the first ch.
R2-5: ch2, 16dc, sl st (16)
End your work with sl st, cut the yarn.
Crochet the second trouser leg in the same way, but after round 5 do not break the yarn this
time.
R6: make ch6 and join both trouser legs with 1sc (this counts as the 1st sc of the following
16), 16sc around the first leg, 6sc (in ch6), 16sc around the second trouser leg. (44)
R7-9: ch2, 44dc, sl st (44)
R10: ch2, 2dc, ch2, skip 2st (tail hole), 40dc, sl st (44) *the tail hole should be in the center,
just like in the picture.
R11: ch2, 44dc, sl st (44)
R12: ch2, (20dc, dcdec)x2, sl st (42)
R13: ch2, (19dc, dcdec)x2, sl st(40)

After round 13 do not break the yarn, put trousers on the Giraffe and crochet ch22 for the
first suspender (maybe you need to crochet some more or less chains - depending on the yarn
you use), join in front of trousers with a sl st, then crochet 8 sl st more on the front of the
pants and again ch22 for the second suspender and join the yarn with sl st crosswise to the
back.
Cut the yarn and fasten off your work.

HATBAND
Dark Green
ch20, from the second chain of the hook:
R1: sl st, 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 2tr, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc, sl st, 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 2tr, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc, sl st, ch1
On the other side of the chain:
R2: sl st, 1 sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 2tr, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc, sl st, 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 2tr, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc, sl st.
Wrap the yarn several times and sew the hatband to the head.
