The residential address plus any other daytime or overnight addresses displayed on this schedule are the risk addresses where
you keep the insured items. These have an influence on the calculation of your premium and determines the acceptability of your
risk plus the terms and conditions that are applied to your policy. IF YOU CHANGE ANY OF THESE ADDRESSES AND DO NOT
UPDATE YOUR POLICY RECORDS, YOU MAY NO LONGER HAVE INSURANCE.
E-Hailing
An E-Hailing business is vehicles registered with an E-Hailing service provider for carrying fare-paying passengers. The vehicle must
at all times comply with all relevant laws applicable to the use of the vehicle as an E-Hhailing service and all other relevant laws
affecting road transportation in South Africa. You are required to do all things necessary to ensure that both the insured vehicle and
any driver thereof are compliant with the requirements of the National Road Traffic Act.
In addition to the standard driver’s licence the driver needs to be in possession of a valid professional Driving Permit (PrDP). The
PrDP will be requested during claim stage. If it cannot be provided you could be prejudiced at the time of the claim
Failure to comply with any of these stipulations will result in there being no cover at the time of the incident.

All premiums and insurance values are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate. This schedule becomes a Tax Invoice once the
premiums are paid in full.
IMPORTANT: Please note that your policy is a monthly policy and must be paid in advance on the deduction dates as they are
stated above. If your premium is not received on your preferred deduction date, an attempt may be made to collect your
premium on a more suitable date in an effort to keep you covered. If payment is not received for three consecutive months, the
policy will be cancelled immediately.
The payment will be collected by Auto & General Business Insurance on the agreed deduction date. The payment reference will
reflect as A&G/BUSINS on your bank statement. If your deduction date falls on a Sunday or public holiday, your debit order may
be lodged for an earlier date.
You will have cover when the regular driver and his/her spouse use the vehicle for business, social, domestic and pleasure purposes.
You will also have cover if any other driver, whom we did not exclude from the policy, uses the vehicle occasionally for social, domestic
and pleasure purposes but not for business purposes.
Passenger Liability
If your declared km usage increases greater than 10% and up to 20%, you will have an additional excess of R10 000. Added to your
basic if you submit a vehicle claim.
If your declared km usage increases greater than 20% and up to 30%, you will have an additional excess of R20 000. Added to your
basic if you submit a vehicle claim.
Please note that if the declared km usage increased over 30%, then cover on this specific vehicle will be affected. We will do our best
to contact you to amend the declared km usage. We will also SMS you immediately to give you the opportunity to amend your
declared kilometres.
Should you wish not to amend your cover and premium accordingly we may cancel your policy by giving 31 days’ notice and apply a
R30 000 additional excess should you have a claim during this cancellation period.
Vehicle Endorsements
Cover will be limited to Third Party Only, until the vehicle has been inspected at an approved assessment centre. Furthermore, theft
cover or damage because of theft, is excluded until we approve your anti-theft system. Please ignore if done.
Please note that in order to enjoy cover under this policy your vehicle must be fitted with an approved Netstar Telematics device
which must be operational at all times and the monthly payment of premiums must be met. Failure to have an approved Telematics
device will mean that you will not have cover under this policy.
Should the unit not be installed within the 7 days, your premium will be increased due to non-compliance and an additional excess of
R15 000 will be applicable in the event of a claim. The non-compliance premium and excess will automatically be effective from day 8
and a pro-rata premium will be deducted from your bank account.
Business Use: There will be no cover if anyone, under the age of 21, drives this vehicle for business purposes.
Passenger Liability cover outside South Africa
If you have selected the cover and your schedule states that you are paying a premium for it.
We will indemnify you for third party claims made against you by any person being carried in, or on, the insured vehicle described in
your schedule, whether or not such persons are authorised to be in or on the vehicle as a result of an accident in Botswana, Lesotho,
Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.
Vehicle statistics
We will receive vehicle statistics held by third parties where consent was given by the Insured/registered owner of the vehicle. The
data based on the vehicle statistics might result in a possible fluctuation of the vehicle premium. 31 days’ notice of increase in premium
will be given. Should the consent be retracted or cancelled by the Insured/registered owner the company reserves the right to request
the insured obtain alternative cover.

In accordance with the Policyholder Protection Rules, you will as a first step have 90 days to dispute the outcome of your claim by contacting our Internal Dispute
Resolution Department. Immediately following this 90-day period you have a further six months to serve summons on us. If you do not do so within this time period,
your right to challenge the decision will be forfeited.
We guarantee that your dispute will be dealt with in an efficient manner and will be reviewed by way of an impartial review process.
We encourage you to first make use of our Internal Dispute Resolution Department in an attempt to resolve your dispute promptly.
Once our Internal Dispute Resolution Department has dealt with your dispute and should the outcome of the dispute not be in your favour, then you may within a
further period of six months contact the Short-term Insurance Ombudsman (www.osti.co.za). For any compliance/non-compliance matters relating to FAIS or the
financial services rendered, you may contact the FAIS Ombudsman (www.faisombud.co.za).
· Sharing of information with service providers and other third parties we engage to process such information on our behalf or who render services to us; and
· Sharing of insurance and claims information with other insurers and industry bodies for legitimate reasons such as fraud prevention and claims validation.
We may transfer your personal information outside the borders of South Africa if required to provide any of the services.
You may access your personal information that we hold and may object to the processing of your personal information or request us to correct any errors or to delete this information if there
