Ql [CLO 1; 12 marks] A refrigerator needs to remove 60 kW from refrigerated space maintaining at -


26.07 ° C. Consider that the condenser work at 1.2 MPa and R134a used as working fluid.
Detennine the (i) mass flow rate of R134a (m) (ii) the power inpu·t (W,n) and (iii) the coeffic�ent of
petfuru1ance (COP), while considering multistage compression rethgeration system as shown in figure.

section, and (c) the rate of water added to air in the evaporative
cooler.
