Thank You!

Thank you for downloading my itsy bitsy spider adapted book. This PDF file contains an
adapted book where students will follow the nurser rhyme ‘the itsy bitsy spider’ and
answer questions throughout.

I recommend printing pages 2-6 and cutting each page in half (2-4), laminating and
putting together as a book. Print and cut out the symbols (page 5) individually and
laminate these to make them longer lasting. Print and laminate the ‘base’ board (page
6). I would also recommend using velcro - apply velcro stripes to the ‘base’ board and
velcro on the backs of the symbols as well as velcro on the boxes on the work pages
(pages 2-4) this will just make your activity longer lasting and easier to keep together
without any pieces getting lost.
This activity is a great way to see if students are able to recognize and associate
pictures to symbols and will help students start to build sentences.
