Reflection essay

after completing the professional development seminar class, I was able to learn a variety of new
skills as well as remember information that I already knew. The biggest struggles for me was public
speaking and time management I had a field public speaking since I school but I learn to somewhat
overcome that fear after presenting my assignments next planning my views on certain topics. I also
have issues with procrastinating. Although I have submitted all my assignments on time they were
always started uncompleted the day before or the night the assignments were due. Do I am aware
this problem I still have not created a solution however I did make changes to how I manage my time.
I also realise that I’m usually able to Complete assigned task when I am outside of my room.

I don’t believe I’ve gained any strings from this class as I still struggle with public speaking as well as
procrastination however gain new insight on various topics Such as The creation of vision boards
smart goals and SWOT analysis talk to me bye miss swati. I have also learned Career planning
budgeting finding a purpose And how to write cover letters and resumes. [what I found interesting
about the speaker]

I’ve also learned that it is important to be satisfied with one’s efforts as well as on selves. This is
something that I have struggled with greatly and I still believe that I am struggling with this issue
since I often feel very uncomfortable in my own skin recently I’ve been trying to convince myself that
I should try to be more positive and smile more as I was told by miss 40.

the highlight of this course would probably be the group works the presentations and the interview.
I partially enjoyed the group work since I got to observe and listen to the views on experiences of
other members of my grou. I really enjoyed the interview do I was nervous connor my go to
experience what it is like being interviewed as well as the do’s and dont’s of resumes and cover
letters.
