Performance Task 2.1

Research about Albert Bandura Social Learning Theory

Choose a 3 key concepts of Bandura’s social learning theory then state how will you apply these
concepts when you teach. Use the table below for this purpose.

3 Key Concept OF Albert Bandura How I will apply it in my teaching

1. Observation 1.1 Set realistic role play. I will give a situation in
which my students will create a role play base in
the situation given. In that way I can observe my
students how they act and how they perform.
Also, their co-students observe the presentation.
They envisioned how the characters reacted
and how they felt, etc. This, in turn, taught
them how to react and feel in similar life
situations.
1.2 By exposing them by role playing. I will give
scenarios and take their time to plan the scenario
given. In this concept everyone will observe the
role play. By observing the students could learn
through watching.
2. Imitation 2.1 Encourage them to go to school every day. As
a teacher we should encourage and motivate
them. But it starts from the teacher. A teacher
should go to school prepare and ready for the
lesson, come to school early because in that
simple way you your students or children imitate
of what your doing. You will give them a task in
which everyone will cooperate like dancing or
playing and everyone is happy. Your students also
act the same way.
2.2 We can start by teaching learning behaviors
such as imitating others. Learning behaviors help
our kids acquire skills on their own. Through
verbal instruction the students imitate like raising
your hands and then you ask your students to
follow what you’re doing. In a simple way you
your students imitate of what your trying to
perform them.
3. Modelling 3.1 Show them the good manners. Treat them the
way you care to yourself. When discussing in
front of the children act being a professional. A
teacher is the role model of the children/
students. Whatever they see they might follow
the behavior that you’re showing to them.
3.2 I couldn’t show the bad side of me because a
children or students always observe the behavior
of a teacher. A teacher , parents and the
character of the movie is what we can called
model. So, if the students saw different from
their teacher, parents or in the movie like happy
or being bad a students/children also might
follow that behavior. As a teacher when teaching
we should act being a professional so that our
students also follow the good behavior that we
showed them.
