Polish Infantry Squads 1939

Each Polish Infantry Squad from a standard Rifle Company,

regardless of parent organization, consists of the infantry sections
assigned to it. A full strength squad would have consisted of a
command team, two (2) rifle teams and a LMG section. A total of
19 men in all, and considerably larger than the squad organization
of its adversaries. The Polish Infantry squad costs more than its
BGWWII counterparts in the German Army as it size is larger.
Riflemen are equipped with KAR 98k’s or a Polish version of it.
The LMG section was equipped with the RKM wz. 28, a licensed
copy of the American BAR.
The Frontier Defense Corps
Polish Defense Korps
Korpus Ochrony Pogranicza – (KOP) was
formed in 1924 to guard against the Soviet threat following
the demobilization of the emergency army units after the
Polish-Soviet War of 1919-20.
The soldiers were mostly ethnic Poles, specially
selected and specifically trained. Throughout the interwar
period they maintained a high state of readiness and often
engaged in skirmishes against Soviet border incursions.
They also participated in pacification campaigns against
Ukrainian Nationalists.
At the outbreak of war in 1939, KOP units mobilized
against the German threat leaving a token presence spread Polish Infantry Squad Costs

resistance these units were overwhelmed by the 7 armies Type Morale Points Wpn
