For the open ended lab of soil mechanics we have collected soil from
Federal B Area Block 16 Gulberg Town located on longitudinal and

3.1 DATA

4. PLASTICITY INDEX
As it can be observed from the attached pictures that we were able to make
the balls to some level but when we tried to make thread out of it, it crumbles,
and we were not able to perform any test and this shows that the soil is sandy
and Plastic Limit and Liquid Limit are considered ‘0’
Hence Plasticity Index is zero
