Environment Day is celebrated on 5th of June every

year. It is an attempt to sensitize people across the
globe towards environmental degradation and create
awareness towards sustainable consumer behavior. In
an endeavor to create awakening amongst the
students, DPS East conducted an environment Day
activity called 'incandescent artistry' for grade 9 and 10
whereby students learnt and created beautiful glass
bottles into a piece of art. They designed exquisite
bottles, using their creative streak to produce designer
bottles from the preexisting glass bottles. The students
gave a potent message to the world of generating the
environment where nature can thrive. Student
exuberantly participated in the activity with a
commitment to make a change and spread the message
of sustainability and responsibility towards
the environment.
