SPECIFICATION 01 – GENERAL
When a failure of work covered by a guarantee has been rectified, the guarantee shall be
reinstated to operate for a period of time equal to that of the original guarantee to take
effect from the date of the acceptance of the rectified work.
The Contractor shall ensure that he obtains, for the benefit of the Employer, a 10 year
guarantee in respect of the performance of the roof waterproofing.
The Sub-Contractor shall provide as part of this Contract, all special tools required for
equipment maintenance and sufficient spare parts for each item of equipment to provide
maintenance for 400 days, all in accordance with there commendations of the
manufacturers of the equipment.
Note:
Completion certificate will not be issued before proving that adequate spare parts for
equipment installed are available with the services sub-contractor.
Spares for the A/C installation as included in the contract shall be delivered by the
Contractor before the Practical Completion Certificate is issued.

E HANDY TOOLS
The Contractor shall provide a complete set of handy tools for use of the routine
maintenance of the plants. Tools shall be provided in a tool box. Tools will
include:
Screw drivers, spanners, hammers, pliers, etc. as needed for the opening of
panels, tightening of bolts, etc.

The whole of the works shall be executed with only the best workmanship practices being
used throughout in accordance with the code of practice of each trade.
