ARMU Series

ARMU series Ring Main Units are switching and

control cubicles; manufactured up to 36 kV, 630 A,
20 kA for single busbar distribution. The main tank
is “sealed for life” thus guaranteeing protection
against SF6 gas leakage for more than 30 years
and reduces maintenance.

There are Extensible and Compact options which

consist of the combination of following types.

• Compact 2L + 1T • Extensible L
• Compact 2L + 2T • Extensible T
• Compact 3L • Extensible I
• Compact 3L + 1T • Extensible 2L + 1T
• Compact 4L
• Compact 4L + 1T Standards

L unit is equipped with a 3-positions load break

switch. It is mainly used for incoming and outgoing

feeders in ring networks.
I unit is equipped with a 3-positions load break Color
switch and circuit breaker. It is mainly used at
• RAL 9003 for front cover
incoming, outgoing in ring networks.
• RAL 7015 for side cover
T unit is used when an outgoing transformer
with fuse protection is required. The transformer Application Areas
unit can be equipped with IMS opening coil.
