CẤU TRÚC CÂU ĐƠN

1. Câu là gì?

Câu là một nhóm từ diễn đạt một ý nghĩ hoàn chỉnh. Một câu phải có một chủ ngữ
(Subject) và một động từ (Verb).

Dad cooked dinner.

We have money.

2. Câu đơn

Mệnh đề là một nhóm từ có một chủ ngữ và một động từ. Câu có một mệnh đề được gọi
là câu đơn.

The girls play baseball every weekend.

Sally found a good hiding place.
The sky was very cloudy.

3. Cấu trúc câu đơn

3.1. Subject + Verb: The boys run.

3.2. Subject + Verb + Object: She reads books.
3.3. Subject + Verb + Complement: He is tall. They are doctors.
3.4. Subject + Verb + Adverb: They eat quickly.

Chú thích:

Chủ ngữ = Subject Động từ = Verb Tân ngữ = Object

Bổ ngữ = Complement Trạng ngữ = Adverb

Chủ ngữ, động từ, tân ngữ, bổ ngữ và trạng ngữ là những thành phần tạo nên câu có ý nghĩa
hoàn chỉnh.
