DOORSTEP BANKING SERVICES (THROUGH PSB ALLIANCE)
FREE SERVICES TO SENIOR CITIZENS

We refer to e-Circular No. NBG/PBU/LIMA-MISC/12/2020-21 dated 09.09.2020 on


“Launch of PSB Alliance- Doorstep Banking services.”

PSB Alliance Pvt. Ltd. (PSBA) has extended a common platform to provide an array of
doorstep banking services to the customers of 12 Public Sector Banks including SBI,
under the aegis of IBA since 09.09.2020.

As an initiative aimed at enhancing accessibility to banking services for senior citizens


of the bank, it has been decided that doorstep banking services will be provided free of
charge to senior citizens (aged 60 years and above) through PSB Alliance Channel as
given herewith:

We are sanguine that, the above free services structure will meet the requirement of the
senior citizen customers. In case senior citizens need more services, they may avail the
same by paying the prescribed fee of Rs.75 + GST prevailing as on date, subject to
changes from time to time.

Presently, above suggested fee structure for DSB services will be provided in respect of
all 13 services to the senior citizens (aged 60 years & above) of the branches/ centres,
where the services of PSB Alliance are currently available.

Going forward the facility will be extended to cover the branches/centres as and when
PSB Alliance expands their footprints to cover the remaining branches/centres.

The free services can be availed by Senior Citizens through the below mentioned

By leveraging DSB through above mentioned channels, we aim to bring banking


services directly to the doorsteps of our senior citizens, ensuring that their financial
needs are met with utmost convenience and security.

Waiver will be applicable for DSB services only, other applicable charges for the specific
service requirement will apply as usual.

IT level developments are being made to implement waiver of charges from the account
of senior citizens for the services mentioned in Table -1. In the meantime, PSB Alliance
has been advised to refund the charges if recovered by system at EOD (End of Day).

In case it is observed that service charges are recovered from the senior citizens
who have availed above services within the limits mentioned in [Table-1], the
Branch Manager will be authorized to refund the amount. No separate approval
will be required. However, branch needs to ensure that refund has not been made
by PSB Alliance.

Please bring the contents of this Circular to the knowledge of all operating functionaries
under your administrative control.
